A lovely place to stay

We had a lovely two days at Foyers Bay Country House. Chris and Elly are amazing hosts who really care about providing their guests with an excellent experience. The location is quiet and beautiful with lots to see in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are lovely with plenty of amenities and outstanding views.

Wonderful hosts

What fabulous hosts Elly and Chris were. We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable stay. Lovely comfortable room, food was delicious and the amount of wildlife was just wonderful. We will be back soon!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and had we known how beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet, we would have booked it for longer. The owners were so personable and kind, we felt so welcomed and “at home”! We had dinner and breakfast the next morning and the food was spectacular, on all accounts! We highly recommend this property and if we ever visit Scotland again, we will most certainly stay here again; for more than just 1 night!

A fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere inside and outside of the house is like out of a fairytale where nature and wildlife are in harmony with the house. During our stay we've seen deers in the garden and some very friendly cockerels. The lake is at a short walking distance away. Sadly we only stayed one night, but we'll happily return.

Awesome Foyers Bay Country House

Elly and Chris are amazing hosts. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was beautiful, cozy and warm. And the breakfast prepared by these two was delicious. I would not hesitate to stay with them again.

Chris and Elly were great! Breakfast was also great! Elly was very helpful in finding things to do off the beaten path! Loved the room and guest lounge!

I found the write up on your site to be somewhat misleading as to location and did not tell us that they don't serve dinner on the weekends, You need to research The actual locations and the state of the access roads leading to the hotel .Bed was comfortable and breakfast adequite

The view from our room was beautiful, we enjoyed the wildlife from the window in our room and the owners were fantastic! Our breakfast was delicious and they were beyond helpful with our directions as we left.

This is an out of the way gem. You will not find a better place to sort yourself out. The walk to the falls is gorgeous and only 20 mins. The views are breathtaking and welcoming staff will see me coming again and staying longer. Truly a gem along Loch Ness.

Excellent. A fréquenter dès que possible

Un incontournable dans le coin : vue sur le Loch Ness, des petits oiseaux partout, des écureuils, un accueil charmant de la part de Chris et Elly (également photographe, donc elle sait où aller pour faire de jolies photos), une cascade pas très loin… L’endroit est aménagé avec goût, et le petit déjeuner cuit à la minute, servi sous une véranda, sur le jardin et avec vue Loch

A lovely small hotel on The edge of Loch Ness. Great short walks to the falls and the loch. It's well run by Ellie and Chris. The South side of Loch Ness is not as accessible as the North side, so it's perfect as a hideaway.

There are not enough words to describe how much we loved our stay here. Chris & Elly are fantastic owners and cant do enough for their guests, food and rooms are excellent and the location, well its beyond words. We loved seeing the red squirrels and the visit from the badger. Although off the beaten track it is definitely worth the drive as the scenery is stunning, If we get a chance we will be back - for a week next time! Thank you so much for being a major highlight of our road trip.

Great!

Chris and Elly are absolutely outstanding hosts. We had a very entertaining welcoming Chris at the reception who quickly guided us to our room on the first floor on the side of the building. The room was very cosy and nicely decorated. Coffee, thee, complimentary cookies and water were also available. Nice tiny shower (but luckily not too tiny) with great shampoo and shower gel available. Bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked on the spot in the morning. We really enjoyed our encounters with 'Mr Peep' and Chris during our unfortunately only 1 overnight stay and looking out for Roger the female(?) badger. Next time, i'll definitly spend some time there again if i'm around Loch Ness. Congrats to you both, we had a wonderfull stay.
