It's quiet complicated how to check in. If you don't have a phone or internet but better have a phone call for help to check in. Room is nice and comfortable.

We stayed in a room at the Blackhome in Innsbruck. We knew ahead of time that it was a virtual check-in but it was not as easy as they had made it out to be on the website. You needed a lot of information to put into the system, which had a slow screen/keypad. To get an early check-in we had to call a help line, which was difficult since our sim card we bought in Germany did not work in Austria. Then once we got ahold of the line and got approved for an early check-in, the card machine broke. As it was creating and spitting out the card, the card got stuck. Initially we were at a loss for what to do. Luckily we realized we had some tweezers in our toiletry bag and were able to extract the card out of the machine. The accommodations were fine, nothing to write home about. The room was very hot and even though there is a thermostat in it, it does not actually allow you to change the temperature of the room. The shower was nice and head two heads but leaks a lot onto the floor. They did not provide any hand soap in the bathroom so we had to buy some. All in all, not a great stay, but doable for the price just to be in Innsbruck and near the town center.

Overall it was good. Baggage drop off and checkin got very complicated. There is no front desk. However, ladies on the phone were very helpful and spoke good English.

Der Zustand des Zimmers war ungenügend. Im Bad fehlte in einer Lampe eine Glühbirne. Die Fassung lag offen und war nich geschützt (Strom) im Bad an der Decke war Schimmel, und das Bad hatte einen eckelhaften Geruch , der aus dem Abfluss kam. Wir hatten Anfang November keine Heizung die gelaufen ist, Am nächsten Morgen stellten wir fest , dass wir auch kein warmes Wasser hatten. Auf Rückfragen hies es man würde einen Techniker schicken, auf den wir dann 2 Stunden gewartet haben. Auch hier kam keine Information von der Hotelleitung. Wir mussten dann ungeduscht das Zimmer verlassen. Meine Lebensgefährtin hat später befürchtet , sie hätte ihre Ohrringe im Zimmer vergessen. Auf Nachfrage hies es wir würden zurückgerufen, da wir zu dem Zeitpunkt noch in Innsbruck waren. Auf den Anruf hätten wir lange warten können. Anstatt eines Telefonates kam eine mail am 08.11. da waren wir schon einen Tag zu Hause. Einziger Lichtblick war das Frühstück, und die Gastfreundlichkeit die wir dort spüren konnten, aber die Damen gehörten wen wundert es auch nicht zum Hotel, sonder waren externe Dienstleister. Aufgrund meiner Ausführungen erwarte ich höflichst eine Entschädigung und eine Rückmeldung. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Ralph Wittenberg
