Our second stay in a cottage. Loved the added privacy curtain for the washroom. Navigating the driveway down to the cottage was difficult as it is very narrow! We had to back out as a vehicle was parked near the sharp turn and we couldn’t get through….

Beds were very comfortable and good nights sleep. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. We were on the bottom floor, could hear the upper floor walking. Overall quiet and peaceful.

These individual units provide an absolutely beautiful view. Each one is independent from others so it is very quiet. The unit is well maintained with a comfortable bed, all amenities, and a porch on which you can sit and hear the water lapping on the rocks. There is a restaurant associated with the cottages which also has a great view. Dinner was nice. Breakfast is $15 for those staying at the property and it is not inidivually prepared - more of a continental breakfast. I would not recommend breakfast if you would like a more individualize breakfast. Otherwise, this is a great place and I would recommend it.

There was very little view from the deck. Also, there is an open concept plan, so no door on the washroom. Or walls!. Just a curtain.

The property is very old and needed updates and freshening up. Screen door to patio needed replacing along with one patio chair. The view was nice, restaurant next door good. I would not book this cottage on another trip to area.

Relaxing Stay

The cottage was well maintained, portable air conditionning was sufficient to keep us cool. Directly on the Cabot Trail, close to Ingonish beach and Smokey MOntain gondola. Our unit had partial view on the bay, but enough to enjoy beautiful sunsets.
