This cabin is a gem in the woods! Felt complete privacy for a wind-down weekend with friends.Everything is very nice: comfortable furniture & beautiful decor. The gas grill worked fine which we counted on for dinners. We would book again!

The property was excellent for what we needed. This was a seven person group weekend get away with the intention of spending some time hiking, relaxing, cooking and spending time around a fire. The cabin provided for all of this and more. Everything was very clean and well maintained both inside and out. Plenty of parking for all of our separate drivers. The hot tub was wonderful and also well maintained. Sleeping arrangements were as comfortable as we could hope for seven separate sleepers in a cabin. Between the comfortable living room, TV room, the deck, the screened in porch, eight person dining table and the wonderful fire pit we had more than enough options to either spread out and relax or come together and socialize as we wanted. Provided amenities like propane and fire wood were very well stocked with more than enough for nightly fires and grilling. Several near by hiking options ( The nearby rock shelter trail was great mid-March while it was relatively dry.) Communication was excellent and the owner went out of the way to help resolve an issue that was entirely on us. Absolutely recommend and would love to visit again in the future.

Disappointed fireplace wouldn't stay on. Repairman tried but no luck. A cabin without a fireplace equals bah!Issue with entry code also. Took 40 minutes to reach help.Need easier contact. Otherwise, everything was great. Very clean!

The decor was beautiful!! My family enjoyed all the things that were available to do there. Some went fishing at the pond. They went Kayaking. They enjoyed the indoor hot tub. We also enjoyed the screened in room & the fire pit on the outdoor balcony. One of the best parts was the nature & tranquility of the location. We would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone.

A Gem in the Woods

Four siblings stayed here for the Memorial Day weekend and Indy 500 attendance. The cabin was extremely clean and a gem hidden in the woods on 16 acres. It was about a 40-minute drive to the speedway -- very easy since the cabin is close to I-69. Even though it's close to the interstate, you'd never know it from the cabin property. Due to the long driveway, the cabin is completely hidden from the road amongst all the mature trees. Just a beautiful setting.Beds were comfortable. Hot water for the showers was plentiful. Kitchen was well-equipped. Furniture was clean and comfortable after a long day. TV worked great with DirecTV and smart apps. Wifi was fast and easily connected.The outside grounds were amazing. Grounds were well kept, lawn mowed, easy parking, etc. We used the fire pit as well. Huge fire pit with all the wood you'd ever need. Surrounding the fire pit were several Adirondack chairs that were sturdy, yet lightweight enough to move around. We had the option to stay closer to the race track, but were so glad we choose this spacious cabin. The 40-minute drive was worth it to escape to the country setting and not be amongst the race weekend craziness. We would highly recommend for your next getaway. Finally, the interaction we had with the property manager was seamless. We had one minor issue and she replied within minutes to solve it. She was a phone call away all weekend if we needed her. We did not thanks to great upkeep.

Our family had the most wonderful Christmas gathering at the Taurina Cabin near Martinsville, Indiana. Nestled in a picturesque location by a small lake and close to the White River, this cabin provided the perfect backdrop for our holiday celebration.From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings. The cabin itself was warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy fireplace in the living room to the well-equipped kitchen where we prepared our holiday feast.The views of the lake were breathtaking, especially in the early morning when the water reflected the soft light of the rising sun. We enjoyed spending time outdoors, walking along the peaceful trails and taking in the crisp winter air. The nearby White River added to the natural beauty and offered a sense of calm and tranquility.The spacious layout of the cabin accommodated our family comfortably, with plenty of room for everyone to relax, play games, and share laughs. The décor was festive and added to the holiday spirit, making it feel like a true home away from home.Overall, the Taurina Cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided not just a place to stay but a space to create lasting memories with loved ones. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning natural setting.
