This is such a clean and quiet place I almost hate to give it a great review to keep it a secret. The location is remote, but well-kept and very private. It is just the essentials, but it is all you need for a restful stay that allows you to unplug from the day to day.

Little White Cottage

Always a pleasant getaway

The property was extremely clean, and the yard looked manicured. The two rental cottages both advertise they have a grill. There are no grills. Verify yes or no on a grill when booking either cottage. The cottage is comfy, and we will return.

Cozy grandma house

The house is way out in the hill country. It is beautiful. It is small and very clean. It felt like your grandparents house. I felt like they would walk in at any moment. The best part is the screened in porch.

A quiet stay at the ranch

We spotted 20 deer, 8 wild turkeys, and 2 Blue Herons. Add to that, we were close to great live music venues.

Like staying at my grandparents home!

Everything was very old-fashioned but sweet, provided everything we needed and then some. They even left us supplies to make breakfast which is far more B&B than most places we’ve stayed. Very generous. The screened in porch was amazing for watching a thunderstorm and the resident dog and cows were friendly and made the experience. We had a lovely weekend.

A quiet getaway

Lots of deer sightings, as well as wild turkeys. It is always nice to be remote from traffic noise. This vacation home is situated close to numerous music venues. Live music for 3 days was our intent, and escaping back to the quiet and comfortable vacation home was the added pleasure.

Quiet and Private

We did not hear the sound of a vehicle the entire stay. Instead, we heard birds, including wild turkeys, cattle lowing, and wind chimes in the distance. We will return.

The cottage is not managed well. The satellite tv was not working and when we contacted the management company we were given the owner phone number. Called but no answer so we walked next door to their home. They were unable to help and told us to call dish network ourselves. When I relayed this to the management company they stated they would call the owners. Needless to say, nothing was resolved and we ended up leaving a day early. This could be a nice place to stay if it was maintained. There is absolutely no contact before arrival. Guest have no clue where to go or where to get keys. If something doesn’t work there is no one to help you. I would not recommend this rental unit until the problems are worked out with the management or owners.

I would book this quaint, peaceful cottage again in a heartbeat! In fact, my husband & I have plans to visit this area & maybe stay in the same location. Absolutely beautiful views & great proximity to local places.
