Very quite and peaceful property overlooking the lake. We were in town for Liberty University graduation. The drive to Lynchburg was well worth it considering the crazy expensive hotel rates in Lynchburg over that time. We were rewarded with beautiful scenery and accommodations for the decision to make the daily drive. I would highly recommend this host.

This little cabin was just what we needed! It’s in a quiet cove and the last cabin on the road so traffic was not an issue. Definitely plan on coming back, hopefully sooner than later.

Weekend getaway

Excellent location with splendid lake views. Deck overlooks a quiet branch of the lake. Great place to walk and enjoyed watching the deer from the deck in the morning. Would definitely return.

Lovely and Quiet

This area is simply the best. This cabin is one of maybe a dozen in a small community of cabins. The views are awesome and this cabin is all by itself on one side for extra privacy. No complaints at all! The owner even left a few extra treats (for adults too) which was really kind. Would love to stay again.

We stayed in cabin 1. It was unbelievably beautiful experience- the cabin, the nature, environment, everything was excellent! The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped to cook your own food. We left our heart down there, and will be back soon!

Heaven on water

First and foremost, the location is perfect. This is where you want to be if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Technology, and road noise. We rented a boat, and the boat dock was just fine. The boat provides all the creature comforts. I would suggest having a bathroom carpet, and/or bath mat. The floor gets very slippery. We intend to come back next summer as well, hopefully it'll be available.

Great Spot!

This was a quiet part of the lake that was perfect for paddle boarding. Great views of the night sky. The cabin was perfect for a getaway.

Beautiful views, quiet, and quaint.

Very relaxing, we chose to eat in since it is not close to any restaurants. Stove needs replaced, pots and pans needed washed before using, rugs needs cleaned or replaced, blinds need dusted, and ceiling logs were dusty, light bulbs need replaced, twin beds uncomfortable for adults and deck umbrella needs relaced. These are our suggestions we have for a future stay.

Beautiful and quiet!

This place was great. We had a nice, quiet stay. The lake was beautiful and it was perfect way to forget about the rest of the world and just sit and watch the water.

My stay in Cabin #1

Property need through cleaning. All blinds very dusty beds posts and throughout cabin dusty. Coffee pot had to be clean so we could use it. Deck have leaves and broken limbs. Utensils not clean. Dog treats under couch spoon between stove and counter. All and all we enjoyed, would be a very nice cabin with some attention.
