8 night stay overall ,first time to Cha Am experience was great ,would definitely return to this hotel I prefer a quieter and more of a laid back holiday experience and this area of Cha Am provided that.

Low Customer Service

Stayed for 2 nights. Due to flight changes, had to move and cancel one night. Reached out to hotels.com 3 days prior to coming in. They mentioned that the hotel is not responding and cooperating with the changes. We met in person with the staff and they were not open to change as well. Not open to exploring any options. We asked for an iron but they didn’t seem to have one. Laundry service was quite expensive. They don’t mention the cost in advance.

In the main our stay was ok. Staff excellent, area quiet, breakfast filling. Unfortunately poor design with shower & bath as one. Excessive water on the floor, accident waiting to happen when stepping out of bath tub. Water just warm, but hotel very busy with 2 or 3 large groups stay there, also creating less parking. I would probably stay there again if price is right again

Location and price. The hotel is an older hotel in the area, but is well maintained and clean. Beach across the street and plenty of places to eat, including the street vendors. Cha-Am community is still trying to recover from COVID-19 closures and small business around the hotel have closed or limited hours.

Another Good Stay at the Long Beach

We have stayed at the Long Beach several times. The property is on the older side but they make a good effort to keep it clean and presentable. The staff are very helpful without being too obtrusive. The breakfast is quite good but they have to make adjustments for the COVID situation, so some of the offerings are in individual serving cups, so not as warm as when they are in a buffet pan, but safety 1st (especially when not all of the customers are compliant with mask requests in the food area). The swimming areas are clean and as good as ever and, interestingly enough, the guests in the pool areas ALL followed distancing and other COVID measures. We had a nice time and will return.

A Nice & Reasonable Place

We've stayed at Long Beach before. We like the setting on the quiet, north end of Cha-am Beach. The staff are pleasant and professional without being too obtrusive. Rooms are a nice size and ours was clean. Adequate amenities. Beds are comfortable. Wifi worked well. Only issues were that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and they don't have electric outlets to speak of. There's a 2-prong near the vanity desk and another in the bathroom. The only 3-prong with ground is the outlet that the TV & refrigerator are plugged into. We've stayed before, so packed our own extension strip. Breakfast is great for a buffet. Lots of Thai choices. Adequate Western choices, including a nice variety of breads and ample bacon. They have 2 swimming pools. One is a standard pool of a very good size. The other is a smaller pool that is great for kids. It is equipped with a slide and other play objects, plus has a fair sized kiddie pool area. All told, an easy and pleasant place to stay.
