From the minute you walk in it is beautiful and the smell is so nice. It was so clean I have ocd so was so thankful of the cleanliness. I would come back and refer this place again.Also the owner left me a gift for my birthday that meant the world to me.

Nice quiet location. Great for relaxing and outdoor activities such as fishing and kayaking. Close to Shipshewana for a day of flea marketing and an Amish meal. Owners were very hospitable. They went the extra mile to make our stay great.

We had a great stay! Our family had a wonderful time and especially appreciated that there were enough kayaks for all five of us. We enjoyed plenty of fishing and relaxing - a perfect way to wrap up the summer before school starts again.

Everything about our stay at this lovely place has been perfect. The house was so beautiful, neat, clean and the decor was so pretty! The view was so amazing that we enjoyed watching the fish jumping, the turtles popping up their heads and the ducks and geese on the water. The furniture and the bed were so comfortable. It is very highly rated and recommended. We loved being there!

The house has beautful view of the lake. It was very clean and special little touches- sign wecoming us, snack baskets and smores package all added to it. We loved kayaking, fishing (no keepers) but still good time, camp fire. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

A perfect place for R&R! The cozy cottage offered everything we needed to soak up family time on the lake and enjoy some meals together on the deck and fun around the campfire. The lake is perfect for floating near the dock and kayaking with the swans. We loved our time here! My teens give the cozy, lakeside aesthetic top ratings!

Nestastic!

We felt calm and comfortable the moment we walked in. Check in information was timely and easy. The view of Pigeon Lake as we walked in was beautiful. Lakeside Nest was a great location for our historic Michigan quest (county seats and historical markers) and Shipshewana for Indiana. We loved our afternoons/evenings by the lake. We like nature and the sounds of birds and frogs brought peace. The water was warm and we swam some, grilled, played corn hole and fire two nights. We had everything we needed and a gift of a smores kit which our 17 year old loved (as we forgot to bring those items). These few days were the reset we needed. Hopefully we can return next year!

Fantastic Lakeside Nest

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Nest! Great first impression, the house was spotless warm and welcoming. Newly updated and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock, and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. It’s clear they put a lot of care into making this a true retreat.

Beautiful place and clean. Just three of us and the weather wasn’t always ideal but we sat at the table overlooking the lake and played games. Did two different buffets which were very reasonably priced and good food. Drove around sightseeing. Very relaxing.
