Nestastic!

We felt calm and comfortable the moment we walked in. Check in information was timely and easy. The view of Pigeon Lake as we walked in was beautiful. Lakeside Nest was a great location for our historic Michigan quest (county seats and historical markers) and Shipshewana for Indiana. We loved our afternoons/evenings by the lake. We like nature and the sounds of birds and frogs brought peace. The water was warm and we swam some, grilled, played corn hole and fire two nights. We had everything we needed and a gift of a smores kit which our 17 year old loved (as we forgot to bring those items). These few days were the reset we needed. Hopefully we can return next year!

Fantastic Lakeside Nest

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Nest! Great first impression, the house was spotless warm and welcoming. Newly updated and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock, and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. It’s clear they put a lot of care into making this a true retreat.

Beautiful place and clean. Just three of us and the weather wasn’t always ideal but we sat at the table overlooking the lake and played games. Did two different buffets which were very reasonably priced and good food. Drove around sightseeing. Very relaxing.

Perfect getaway spot for tranquility

Their place was absolutely wonderful for our young family to have a getaway weekend at! So many amenities offered and activities we could do that we were always entertained and not stressed. The property overall was very clean, smelled good, and well kept. We had an amazing time and would easily go back!

beautiful property!

the property is beautiful! we enjoyed the open kitchen, and the picture window of the lake! the huge deck and the lake view were so relaxing! the kayaks were a great addition, and we enjoyed exploring the lake! the neighbors were all very friendly! Allisa was very helpful and kind - and was available if we had any questions! (even going above and beyond!) we will absolutely be back!

Cute, Relaxing, and Peaceful

We are local and decided to end the summer with a staycation. We did not feel like we were just 10 minutes from home! We felt so relaxed and our son had a blast fishing. There were so many things to do at the property. The blackstone grill made meals so easy! The cottage was charming and very cute. The yard between the cottage and lake front was very spacious. We have stayed in quite a few VRBO properties and this is definitely our favorite so far! To think it’s only 10 mins away from where we live, is the best! The hosts were amazing! They thought of so many details to make anyone’s stay easier. We plan to be back!
