Good group stay, faulty hot tub wiring

Had a good stay at the house, we decided to add another day. House was full of things to do That kept us entertained. Kitchen space was nice and big, so we were able to cook efficiently. Big screen in living room area was great for family movie night. had trouble with air conditioning, so we were uncomfortably warm most of the time until the host manually adjusted his side, and wiring to hot tub was faulty so we were unable to use at all throughout our stay. Good location to go to the city of Houston, it only took around 10 minutes.make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, any cleaning products and paper towels you may need for your stay as we were not provided with any. House patio,hadn’t really been cleaned, a lot of dust on furniture, but we cleaned that off when we got our cleaning products. Overall even though features of the house were very outdated, we had a good time.

Pictures may be a bit deceiving on this one!Outside area was nice, inside had a bit to be desired. Lots of worn out/loose/broken furniture! Flooring had multiple gaps missing. Lots of the wall decorations were damaged. You can find better bang for your buck in the area.

needs a update

We recently stayed at this property, and while it had potential, there were several disappointments. On the positive side, the house is big and spacious, which allowed our group to spread out comfortably. Unfortunately, the home is in desperate need of an upgrade. The air conditioning never got cool enough, making it uncomfortable, especially during the hotter parts of the day. The advertised projector screen was a major draw for us, but it didn’t work, which was a letdown for our planned movie night. The furniture throughout the house felt like an afterthought—mismatched and dated, detracting from what could have been a more polished and cohesive experience.

It was OK

The stay was alright. It was fine for us who were staying but it might not be that way for everyone. I would chalk it up to a lack of attention to detail. Lots of mismatched items and fixtures, torn chairs, wallpaper falling off, lots of debris in the backyard, only 2 coffee mugs, etc. The hot water was also gone super quickly. The pictures definitely look much better than the property does in real life. I think because of how hot it was outside there were several salamanders and little black bugs in several places in the house.

Unprofessional

I originally booked this property for a business trip for a rather large group. We didn’t get check in requirements until exactly one hour before check in which was a little nerve wracking. Upon entry, we observed that the property had not been properly cleaned. Bugs (spiders, ants, roaches) popped up almost everywhere the entire time we stayed. Homeowner was a very hard person to get in contact with. We eventually did later that evening. The air wasn’t really working and the house was never cooled to a comfortable temperature for guests. It stayed around 76-80 in Texas weather with a three story home. It wasn’t really ideal. My guests were very uncomfortable and we felt hopeless trying to resolve the issue so slowly.

Great home!

Tyler has a great home that perfect for a large group. We had 11 people and the house can definitely sleep more than thay comfortably. With the large kitchen, dining and living room area all being on one floor it made it very easy for our group to have a lot kf interaction together. I learned tbat Houston is pretty spread out but for everything we went to it was pretty much 20 minutes or less away and that was perfect. Tyler also checked on us throughout our stay, was super responsive and really made it feel like we had a personal concierge! I hope that we can stay with him again!

This is a hidden gem. Very large, spacious home. The seven bedrooms was enough space for my large family. From the air hockey table, foosball table, very large deck or hot tub, my family enjoyed the amenities. Located right off the highway, very convenient to get anywhere. Very easy check-in, host was very communicative. My family and I totally enjoyed our stay.

Pick this one!!!

This home is BEAUTIFUL, warm, welcoming, and has all of the bells and whistles! The house is also spotless and clean, which is important to me because I'm a retired RN and a clean freak. We also felt safe and secure. But even better than the home itself was the kind and professional attitude of the owners. Any time we reached out with a question, Tyler answered us right away. They accomodated our every need. We will definitely stay here again.

The Perfect Rental for our Family

My family of 11 traveled from Alabama, North Carolina and Texas to celebrate Christmas together under one roof. Tyler's home in fifth ward was the perfect location. The home was well equipped with everything needed. There was plenty of space for us all to enjoy. The hottub was a nice touch as well. Even in the cold weather, some of the adults found time to enjoy it. Overall, this home comes highly recommended by us and we will remember this experience the next time we gather in Houston. Candace
