Do NOT rent from this VRBO owner!! I booked a condo in November 2025 for March trip, and FIVE days before check in - she canceled my reservation to make more money rerenting it. I ended up with a hotel room for double the price. Awful renters!!!

Not sure where the confusion comes in here. My reservation was cancelled less than 24 hours before. It was also very misleading as am”a short walk to the Hobby Center” which was actually 32 minutes. Tried communicating with the property owner and got absolutely no response. Terrible experience.

40th birthday vacation

To get checked into the building was very confusing, using an app and providing information if you’re renting a vehicle is not smooth. Property manger is great at communicating so we did get it all figured out, but was a bit stressful. The unit was spacious and rooms were as described in listing. Pool was closed on Monday for maintenance, which would have been good to know. We ran into multiple other air b and b people who shared similar experience. Elevators weren’t working, except for one, wait times were higher. It was great for walking to bowling, bars and close to stadiums.

The host was amazing , she was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. But the place was advertised with so much to do and how clean it was . The pool was freezing , the shuffle board didn’t work the pool cues were all broken . The bbqs didn’t work . There were cockroaches in the trap and also found some alive in our bathroom. The shower had mold In it . There was hair in the drawers . It is also advertised as a safe place where we were then told not to walk out after dark because it wasn’t safe to do so. The patio furniture was broken . And the lights were burnt out on the deck. Overall for the price of it I would not recommend

Condo was great - building needed assistance

Condo was clean, well appointed had everything we needed and in a safe location - no complaints on the listing, however, i booked this location due to it having a pool. The pool was so dirty it was not swimmable. My daughter was very disappointed. The trash chute location was also very full - made us wonder if there were maintenance issues with the building. Also, side not the building consistently smelled like weed (not in the condo itself) so if you have younger kids with you this may not be the place for you.

Did not get a chance to stay here, less than 24 hours from arriving in the middle of the night I receive a text from the host named Starr. Seeing some kind of crap that there was some kind of maintenance emergency and I can cancel for a full refund. I continued to try to communicate regarding if it was a minor issue that we could work around or something major she refused to communicate altogether and then when I eventually tried to cancel the site said I’m not eligible for a refund instead I had to spend half hour of my time less than 15 hours before my flight to get a refund let alone book another place. I would not even attempt to stay here for fear you would go through the same thing I did. Her customer service skills suck. I was even given her phone number by VRBO, and she refused to answer the phone call or text.
