The self parking was relatively easy but the carpark was very busy. Otherwise, clear instructions on the self check-in on arrival and getting the room keys. Nice room, clean and comfortable.

The only issue was parking, we managed to fined a space because we didn’t want to park by a sign that said “no parking” but it didn’t stop other people from doing so, needs to much clearer, but would recommend.

I recently stayed at Hookwood Lodge near London Gatwick. The self check-in process was smooth — the key was waiting in an envelope by the door, which made arrival easy and convenient. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, with a very comfy bed that made for a good night’s sleep. However, there were a few drawbacks. Parking was quite limited, and despite being advertised, there were no electric vehicle charging facilities available. Additionally, the tap water was undrinkable, which was disappointing. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay close to the airport, but a few improvements would make it much better.

We liked the room it was big and functional, clean and tidy. The only downside is if you are unlucky with other guests who don’t care about those around them like the couple above us. That of course is not a reflection on the property, which has lovely grounds and a really nice pub for food a 3 minute walk away. Parking is also very good and we would come back again. I would say pillows are a bit hard but apart from that great stay and worth the money

Such a beautiful stay, 10/10 for my last night in the UK. Room was lovely for the price, it was not at all what I was expecting. The location in comparison to the airport was super convenient. Also, the bar/restaurant down the road (2 minute walk) was so atmospheric, so yummy, and the prices were fairly reasonable! They put lots of effort into providing every guest with as many recommendations as possible in the guest binder too which was amazing! Not something you see often. Loved it.

The property was lovely and quiet. The check in was fine, but we had no instructions on where to park and we didn’t have the code to the gate. Due to traffic we arrived after 4:30. We were not aware we had to book the shuttle to the airport before hand. Unfortunately my phone did not always work for telephone calls.

Quite remote and difficult to get into via gate intercom. Airport shuttle was completely booked which was a shock since we arrived late at night and needed to get to the airport first thing in the morning. First staff member we spoke to was not helpful at all but another one stepped in and sorted out transportation for us.
