Olympic Base Camp: Pet friendly & spacious 4 bedroom home w/ hot tub

The Location:
Create memories in the unforgettable setting of Lake Cushman! Our home is a base camp for every PNW adventure: hiking, boating, fishing, golf, disc golf, dining, and shellfish harvesting, just to name a few. Lake Cushman and Lake Kokanee access is 5 minutes away with boating and hiking at the base of the Olympic mountain range. We are 30 minutes from the Staircase entrance to the Olympic National Park, with notable trailheads such as Staircase Rapids, Mount Ellinor, and Mount Rose. The charming waterfront town of Hoodsport is 10 minutes away located on the Hood Canal. Here you will find scuba and non-motor boat rentals, as well as fantastic food and beverage options at establishments such as the Fjord Oyster Bank, Hoodsport Coffee Company, and the Hardware Distillery. Enjoy world class local Seafood at the Hamma Hamma Shellfish company 20 minutes away. When you're not out adventuring, retreat to Olympic base camp for some rest, relaxation and family fun.

The Space:
Our home is a two-story house located on a quiet cul-de-sac of the golf course neighborhood. With 2 en-suite setups (one upstairs and one downstairs), the space lends itself well to multi-family or multi-generational family stays. If you are bringing a pet, we live on a quiet street and are located right along a maintained power line trail where you can take 4-legged friends on a walk. We have games, two smart TVs, pool table, fire pit, wood stove, hot tub, and a fully stocked kitchen and grill for when you want to relax at the house.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

We had a great stay. It’s close to the lakes, and there was plenty to keep the kids busy at the house during our down time.

Host was welcoming and proactive about providing our information well before our check-in and check-out dates. This made the entire process much smoother and hassle-free. The home was beautiful, and the amenities were an added bonus. The home was spacious and clean, was an incredible value and we felt we got more than our money's worth! Would highly recommend this home to others! It was an extremely pleasant stay

Weekend stay

We had all ages sibling weekend kids teens adults the house was spacious for us all to enjoy time together. Only few things we could have used were a blender, another tv (non in bedrooms) and more laundry detergent other than that the weekend was great!

This place was perfect for hosting our holiday dinner. The hostt was always fast to respond to any questions I had leading up to our stay. We loved the large, well stocked kitchen and open concept layout. Plenty of bathrooms and the bedrooms provided privacy when needed outside of the living area. Directions were accurate. The hot tub was hot(no gazebo over it though) The home is not actually on the lake and there is not a lake view but that didn't deter from my family's enjoyment. They already want to stay again next year.

Cool house

Nice house on the inside, yard was a little bit unkempt and lots of debris on roof, gutters. Propane tank was empty on the barbecue so i had to gill that to use it. Other than that, very nice house, family friendly. Inside of house was very clean and excellent accommodations and nice sleeping areas

The house was very clean except for something overlooked by the cleaning people, probably a one time mistake. Kitchen is very well equipped. The location was great for exploring the area and NP system. The house location was quiet and peaceful. Having access to private lakeside parks in the HOA was really nice - allowed for quiet areas to enjoy the lake (sometimes having the park all to yourself!) Host communicated right away about everything and was helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
