Home in the woods

Perfect for our family get-away. The proximity and access to private parks made the days fun. For dinner, we used their outdoor grill and Blackstone griddle instead of the kitchen stove and loved it. We all fit around the large table for the meals. And there was an area to play card and board games, which were provided.Thank you

Perfect place to stay. This lovely house had everything we needed and more. Very clean and spacious ….super happy with the cabin. Very close to the lake and overall property was great.

Amazing 4th!!

This is our second stay at this property. It never disappoints! The proximity to the lake is perfect for our two children to enjoy. The scenery around the property is breathtaking! Just an all around stellar place to stay :) We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Cushman beauty

This is the second time I stayed at this property and the second time I really didn’t wanna leave. It’s just a warm family friendly place very dog friendly and if your hiker there are so many hikes around it was unfortunate that we didn’t get the late summer days that we were hoping for, but we still enjoyed ourselves just love this place.

Peaceful woodland setting on Lake Cushman

Great place for exploring Lake Cushman and Olympic area. The Staircase Rapids trail is particularly wonderful, and there are loads of places to get to the water for swimming etc.

Family Visit

This was a second location to support a family gathering. The place was clean, comfortable with lots of homey touches not normally present in a rental. While not as warm and sunny as we hoped for we were able to climb Mt Ellinor, went whale watching, and explored Port Townsend and Sequim. It.was a lot of fun.

Relaxing at the Lake!

This house was the perfect family vacation spot! Clean, comfortable, and cozy, with all of the amenities you could wish for - and right next to beautiful Lake Cushman! We swam, picnicked, played games, cooked, explored, and just relaxed and enjoyed the scenery, the comfortable beds, and being together. Highly recommended! Our dog loved it too.

Best stay!

This property has everything you could want or need! The barbecue and flattop grill made it easy to step away from the cozy a/c during the heat. This home is spacious and well stocked with cookware. The property manager was on top of making it super easy to access the property and let us know when there was something to beware of. Overall super smooth stay and loved this home and it is very close to the lake! Plan on coming back next summer!

Birthday at the Lake

Super sweet get away place with wonderful amenities. We enjoyed every moment there and only wish our work conflicts didn’t delay our arrival. The short walk to the lake and park was great and we did it multiple times with our youngest son. The community & staff was welcoming and we felt right at home!

Amazing 4th of July!!!

Words cannot express how pleased we were with our stay! The property was gorgeous and impressively stocked. Sitting on the deck, surrounded by nature while doing homework was the best! Our two older teens enjoyed the proximity of the lake to the property. Truly, i cannot say enough good things. Thank you, Kim, for the amazing communication and for making our stay so awesome!!

Fabulous

We fell in love with this place immediately it is a very comfortable home, and it was evident that the owners of the property took pride in it. I just can’t even say enough. We went with three grandchildren and a dog, and it was just wonderful a short walk to the beach and the scenery and everything.were just wonderful It felt like you were sort of camping, but in a modern home. I can’t wait to go back. One note..❤️❤️❤️

Awesome vacational rental

Lovely home with all the amenities. Remote but activities nearby. Great place to relax! Kitchen was well stocked for those that would like to cook their own meals. Beds very comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Very nice area, let our teenagers run around without worry. They played by lake a lot. Home is very nice, with everything you can need, you bring your food, everything there to prepare it. Really peaceful. Deer walking around the yard and neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Great Location!

This is a great option for those looking for a pet and family friendly cottage within walking distance to the Lake Cushman Community beach park. The cottage has a fantastic kitchen with everything you need. It includes a noce propane grill and, this was my favorite, a large Blackstone propane griddle right on the front porch! The cottage has two full bathrooms, which is rare to find in vacation rentals in this area. There is also a/c, a fireplace, washer/dryer, and a very nice living room setup with plenty of games and puzzles. The cottage does have solid wifi, streaming sticks and an xbox 360 with a few games the kids enjoyed. Overall this is the most outfitted and well maintained cottage I’ve stayed at of several in the Lake Cushman Community.

Lake Cushman stay

Over all a good trip, cottage in a pleasant area. Lake clean, beach area beautifully kept. Master bed extremely high, had difficulty getting on and off, persons with mobility issues might struggle ! Place was a little dark, perhaps reading lights needed. Nice little gift, toys and bed for our dog. Extremely well equipped kitchen apart from strainer for rice. Noticed the pans were scratched, perhaps wooden spoons and spatula could be provided, cooking tools were all metal. Water pressure was excellent as was water quality. Didn’t enjoy the security cameras, just a privacy thing ! Major point, being non North American, instructions needed for the heating system, there were a couple of chilly mornings and evenings, we didn’t have a clue how the system worked. Place was totally fine for a late availability week away.

Lake cushman

This was supposed to be a vacation with my grandson unfortunately he got injured so I went with my sister. The house is very well stocked with Necessities you may need for cooking such as spices and utensils. I felt the location was closer to three blocks away then a 60 second walk to the lake but not really a big problem. Overall it was a good experience.
