Staff did an excellent job. No view of the ocean or beach. Garbage trucks woke us up almost every morning at 6:00am. Hotel was very walkable with a good restaurant in the hotel and many good restaurants around the hotel.

I really enjoyed the soup of the day. I had miso soup twice, as well as a Korean-style soup made with carrots and turnip in a pork-flavored broth. I loved all the soups! The hotel also serves fresh drinks—my favorite is the pineapple juice. They offer a nice selection of fresh salad, eggs, fried rice, ham, and yogurt etc. The staff are friendly and greet guests warmly every day, which makes the stay even more pleasant. They also clean the room daily, even without a request, and the room is always kept very clean. The location is also very convenient—there are several ABC Stores nearby (I think about three), the Kuhio beach park is only a two‑minute walk away, and bus stops are close as well. The hotel entrance has an open, welcoming layout with a drive‑through area, which creates a nice first impression.

We did not receive the free breakfast since I didn’t book directly with the hotel, although the $400.00 resort fee should have been more than enough for the free breakfast, we did eat breakfast at the hotel but we had to pay for it, as far as the hotel it is dated but clean and comfortable, the location is perfect for the shops, food, beach and beautiful sunsets, housekeeping did a wonderful job we loved coming back every day to a clean bed, towels etc I would stay here again, even though we were disappointed with all the money we paid including resort fees and not getting the complementary breakfast

Our room was perfect 👌 The staff was helpful and gracious. Our Daughter &grandson enjoyed your daily multicultural style breakfast, While my husband and I chose to enjoy our own familiar breakfast in our room. Our g-son 6yr with odd will only eat pancakes, but they told us NO outside food allowed, plus the front desk told me I couldn't take any food from the breakfast room back to my room. There public use microwaves are on the 2nd floor. "very inconvenient" our hotel was located one short block from the beach which was very nice. Plenty of places to eat around our hotel also. There pool is not heated.

Check in with Connor was terrific. He covered all the information in a polite, friendly and professional manner. The only thing that would have been nice if we could have presigned for lei making as we had a party of 6 and only 2 were able to participate. This is not a 3 star property. Expedia misrepresented this property or paid for reviews. The property baby needs renovated. It smells old and stale. Our first room did not have hot water in the bathroom sink nor shower. We could not be moved until the next afternoon. The beds have horrible mattresses. We all had backaches or hip aches after day 2. My daughter weighs 110 lbs. and she took the pull-out couch. The mattress was worn and without any support. She struggled for three days with hip pain. I will applaud the staff. The front desk and cleaning staff were kind and accommodating. But my advise is STAY AWAY - even if the location is enticing , RUn!
