Summer in the garden, winter around the fireplace, the fully restored cottage is situated on the floor of a separate building (the ground floor is unoccupied and not rented) and consists of 2 bedrooms with 2 beds double, bathroom, toilet, living room, kitchen, 2 terraces (a terrace upstairs and a terrace overlooking the garden with table and chairs to eat there), 1 sleeping loft with 2 additional seats with very nice garden view landscaped (2000m2) and surrounding countryside. comfort (microwave, garden furniture, tv, stereo etc ....). We had a wonderful stay here, the house is comfortable, nicely decorated and had everything you would need. The location was ideal for us, there where a lot of interesting places within an hours drive or so. The owners were very kind and welcoming, easygoing and helpfull. We would recommend staying here!

the heart of normandy

The gite was really good ,although for older people the stairs might prove difficult ( we are 73 and 83 ) but are very active . Pascal and Claude are very friendly and helpful We would certainly go back as it is an ideal location to explore Honfleur and north Normandy

Charming cottage in rural Normandy

We found the cottage to be the perfect landing in Normandy after a long day of travel. Pascale and Clod are very friendly and helpful hosts, giving great advice for seeing the sights or finding a nice meal while avoiding the tourist traps. They don’t believe it, but their English is really great. The cottage is cozy and clean, with nice views in every direction. The little galley kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. There are two bedrooms, and that was perfect for a couple traveling with two weeks of luggage, but it would have been tight with additional adults, as there is only one small toilet and the hot water runs out quickly. If you have kids, they will love the secret loft, as well as the swing set on the lawn. We loved the antique farm equipment and the cows munching apples outside the window. This place is about 11 km from Honfleur, an easy drive, and about 5 km from Beuzeville, which has a large grocery store and several shops. So you must have a car, and GPS will be very helpful. If you’re looking for a Norman get-away, someplace to stay while touring cidre stands and sampling local cheeses, book this cottage. We wished we had stayed longer, but hope to return someday.

Propriété assez difficile à trouver et très incommode pour 4 personnes . Les chambres sont minuscules et le lit se trouve sous le toit, Impossible de ne pas se frapper la tête en se levant. Une seule toilette, contrairement à la description. 4 personnes ne peuvent pas rester ensemble dans la chambre commune. Le pire c'était que le propriétaire nous a pressé d'arriver avant 21h et nous a communiqué ça le jour même du voyage après 14 h, quand nous étions déjà sur le chemin, malgré le fait que nous avons annoncé un mois avant que nous allons arriver tard ( à cause de la distance) . En plus, il habite dans la maison de vis-à-vis ! Nous étions préparés à dormir ailleurs. En plus, malgré le fait que je l'avait annoncé de tout début quenos amis vont arriver avant, il m'a demandé seulement pendant le jour d'arriver lui faire une annotations sur le contrat (6 pages!) pour leur donner les clés ; heureusement, je l'avais imprimé et j'ai pu lui envoyer le contrat avec une copie de mon passeport, tout ça fait dans la voiture, sous la pression d'arriver ! L'eau chaude est suffisante pour un douche court pour maximum 2 personnes. Première et dernière expérience en gîte privé pour nous
