Countryside Retreat: A remodeled 1800’s artist cottage on the lake

A 2-bedroom lakeside cabin just 10min from Lahti and 1.5h from Helsinki airport.
It offers peace and privacy on a large property with a big yard, trampoline, and unique sculpture garden. Explore the surrounding countryside and nearby hiking and skiing trails and then return home to a warm sauna and swimming right from the dock. Inside you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, comfy living area, and warm atmosphere. alike. Come experience Finnish lakeside living -close to Lahti, but a world away. We are located across from Messilä camping and skiing. From Messilä you can access ski, biking, and hiking trails. The cabin you are renting is connected by a hallway with a door to another house (pic per request) that was built in the 1960s. We currently live there.

There’s also a row boat and kayak you are welcome to take out.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker. Housekeeping is available on request.
