Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa was a pretty unique experience overall. Being out in the jungle setting was definitely cool and gave the stay a different vibe compared to being right in town. That said, the location is quite far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, so getting to restaurants, shops, or anything else takes a bit of effort. The property does provide bikes, but unfortunately all of the ones we saw had flat tires and didn’t feel reliable enough for a longer ride into town. On the plus side, arranging a car was easy and convenient, usually with only a 5–10 minute wait. We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious and comfortable, and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, there were a few downsides. The breakfast was underwhelming and didn’t feel entirely food-safe, which was a bit concerning. Another issue was the shower, the shower head was quite corroded and the water pressure was almost nonexistent, making it difficult to use. Overall, it was a good stay. The property itself is cool and has the essentials, but there are a few areas that could use improvement to really match the setting.

All the attractions that we wanted to see/do were very close by however we were still in a quiet private area in the mountains. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room was a great size and was always kept clean. We had a lovely stay here for a very reasonable price and we would definitely recommend staying here

This is a beautiful Homestay with well kept gardens and accommodation. The staff are very friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay, this is perfect. The panoramic view bungalow is beautiful, and we also stayed in the smaller deluxe bungalow with it's lovely mountain view. Taxi's are easy to book to get around, and there are bikes to ride. Very good value for money; would definitely return. Thank you Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa!

We loved our stay here, the location is so beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! I’m afraid I didn’t note his name but the guy on reception especially made us feel so welcome. You can rent motorbikes from the hotel and it’s quick to get to lots of the main sites around despite feeling totally secluded. We also got a couple of Grab taxis very easily. The breakfast was also really good and we ate dinner one night which we enjoyed too. Would definitely stay here again

The staff was amazing! There was a booking issue and we didn't get the reserved Bungalow. It was setup wrong by Hotels.com (same as Expedia) but it looks like they fixed it now on the website. Anyways we were still very happy with the smaller Bungalow and we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. We stayed for 5 nights and you can rent a motorbike at this location (For less than $6 per day). Free breakfast was great, we loved the location and the beautiful garden and the lights at night. The place was fully booked during our stay, but it never felt crowded and it was always quiet. Make sure to tip the people in this beautiful country! The average income is very low and they will appreciate it greatly.
