My first stay at this hotel was a disaster. I had prepaid for a three-night stay from April 24 to April 27, 2025. During those days, the city was preparing for a major event, and some roads around the hotel were closed. However, guests could still navigate the area, sometimes by foot. My departing flight was scheduled for April 27, and I needed to reach the airport by 11 a.m. On April 26, I inquired at reception about road closures and was informed that the hotel's street would be closed from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 27. However, the closure was so strict that guests would not be allowed to leave the hotel during that time. Upon receiving this information, I had no choice but to check out early. Despite this, the hotel refused to refund or even offer a partial refund for the last night, which I was unable to stay. I also noticed that the hotel chain had another property near the airport and asked if I could transfer there at a reduced rate, but they denied my request. In the end, I had to book another hotel at my own expense, paying for two hotels on the same night. Even more frustrating was the fact that if I hadn't proactively asked about the road closures, I would have been completely unaware of the situation—potentially missing my flight. The hotel made no effort to inform guests about this significant restriction, which was extremely disappointing. considering this hotel, be aware that you're on your own. Do not expect any support or assistance from management.

Not the best property but value for money if you are on a budget. Pool good but area surrounding very small. No service. Rooms small but adequate. Bar very limited. Food very poor, incl breakfast which is extremely limited. Would I stay again: if price was the same yes, otherwise no. It was about A$650 for six nights.
