This hotel is dated but well staffed and maintained. It's our second visit and we'll be back! Perfect location with beautiful views of the peace park and bomb dome. Easy access to public transportation.

The location was good. Right on a busline and just around the corner from a station. Lobby was nice. People were friendly. Our floor was ok, but felt a little dated. I made the mistake of moving the cabinet while looking for an outlet. There were dust bunnies that had died of old age. I didn't take a picture, I should have.

Hotel was in a perfect location. Walkable to Atomic Dome, Peace Park, Museum, shotengai shopping street and numerous restaurants. Very good breakfast at the hotel. Beds were comfortable. Clean, good sized rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Excellent location close to the Peace Memorial Museum. Walkable distance from the Hiroshima Bus Centre if the weather is good. Bit of a distance from the main train station but easily reachable by tram or bus (be careful if you have big bags and it's rush hour!). Easy to reach Miyajima from here. My single minor complaint is the two busy elevators and a total lack of access to the stairs. Getting out or returning to the room could take a very long time if many other guests were coming and going at the same time. Otherwise, a wonderful stay and I'd gladly choose this location again.

The hotel has a great breakfast and has some nice views of the river and Peace Park. The lobby bar area was nice also. The staff were excellent. The only issue is that the bathrooms seemed to have steam ventilation and if you opened your bathroom door, you could set off the fire alarm. This happened on our first night at 430 am on the floor below us. A lot of us went out to the street at 430 am. The next night the alarm went off again, this time around 11 pm. This seems like a regular occurrence and no fire trucks came. This issue is a big problem and should be fixed by the hotel. Our bedroom windows were soaked /steam covered most of the time. We took normal length showers.

Air conditioning was turned off. Hard to sleep. Window wouldn’t open to get cooling into the room. Sink stopper broken shut. Had to prop it open with a Q-tip.
