Fantastic Place!

Celebrated my 70th birthday with children and grandchildren - everyone had a lot of fun and it was wonderful celebrating with all 14 in the family! Accommodations, pool table, swimming pool and hiking were all first rate and led to a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful views and mild weather made it a very peaceful weekend!

We enjoyed everything about the house, pool, and property. Beds were comfortable, everything needed was supplied by owner, and the heated pool was an extra bonus. I highly recommend this home!

There are just not enough good things I can say about our stay. Owners were very responsive to our questions. Property is breathtaking. Adventure at every turn. Our family greatly benefited from our time here and we are eager to return!

The Most Wonderful Place!

Starry Creek Ranch was the perfect spot for our multi-generational family. We had ages 4 to 71 and the single story home was just what we needed. We swam and cooked and played games and explored the property - it was the best!

Starry Creek Ranch was just perfect for a long holiday weekend with family. The house is newer, spacious, comfortable and a perfect layout for multiple families or groups staying together (two master suites, kids bedrooms, multiple bathrooms). The house itself far exceeded our expectations. The pool was a hit with the kids and provided relaxation for everyone. The views are spectacular and sunset is beautiful. The stars at night are also stunning. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond every morning and evening. We also loved the adventurous hike to find the Indian cavern — one of the highlights of our stay! This property is unique and the host has thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable and memorable— we will be back!

Perfect Getaway

We wanted to get away from our day to day and disconnect from screens for a long weekend with our 3 kids and found this gem! My husband and I, along with our 13, 12 and 10 year old had an incredible time and made memories that will last a lifetime!! We can’t wait to come back again in the future!

We’ll be back!

Our group rented this as a place to stay for the Hico cookoff. Though a little farther from Hico than we would want, the place checks off all our boxes: enough beds and bathrooms, swimming pool, game room, beautiful view and hiking!!! We’ll definitely be back.

Awesome spot

We stayed for a long weekend. It was amazing! First thing you see as you’re coming up the driveway is the spectacular view. Perfect amount of bedrooms for our stay. Very well stocked kitchen. Every detail is thought of. We would definitely come again fir longer!!

Wonderful and Relaxing

We rented this property to celebrate my parents 43rd anniversary. It is a wonderful place to get together with family members relax and enjoy the amazing views. Our host Nancy was great in communicating with any question we had. I would highly recommend this place as a way to get away from it all.

Awesome Family Vacation

The property is absolutely beautiful. The ability to go out the back door and explore the countryside with the beautiful wildflowers, creeks and caves, plus have the pool to enjoy made for the most relaxing time for our family. Annual family getaway

This place is amazing. The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. The hosts have thought of everything, and were very quickly available via text message if needed. We always enjoy our summer family getaway, but this year was special. Everyone loved it here. We will be back!

80th birthday

Very clean and beautiful. Pool and game room great for entertaining various age groups. Lots of room to spread out and visit. Host had everything we could need to have a comfortable stay. Our out of state family was blown away by the beautiful views.

Amazing house and property

Well organized and stocked. Everything is labeled. Lots of space and activities. The kids enjoyed the Scavenger Hunt.it was not warm enough to use the pool; we’ll have to return in a warmer season! We enjoyed our family together time in this lovely setting.

Family Starry Ranch Retreat

We had a blast as did my grandkids. Didn't need much. They have what kids like. Lots of open space to enjoy. Let em roam with some supervision. Will rent again. Excellent service and a family setting. Was treated like family by the host. Awesome trip. Enjoyed the beautiful views and fun family times.

Amazing!!

The house, the views, and the hospitality were beyond our expectations. Every restroom was fully stocked with tons of spare towels, shampoo/conditioner, and even provided pool towels. Every room had their own theme and was spot on! We brought my in laws out to relax, disconnect, and take in some awesome views… and this stay did just that! We can’t thank The Hughes Family enough for opening up their beautiful home for others to share!!

This property is just as it is represented. We’ve done many vacation rentals and Nancy is definitely the hostess with the mostest. She will bend over backwards to accommodate. All pros and no cons on Starry Creek Ranch. Beautiful home, beautiful scenery and beautifully decorated.

Beautiful space

We stayed here for a family get together and had a wonderful time. The house is very well appointed, with lots of wonderful touches (labels in the kitchens, tons of indoor and outdoor games, rollaway beds, etc.). We had enough space for our group (6 adults, 5 kids). The backyard is beautiful with a great view of nature and a very comfortable bench swing to watch the sunset. There were tons of stars to view once the sun went down as well. The kiddos enjoyed swimming, feeding the fish, exploring nature, playing games, and dancing along with the Jukebox music. It is a great location and a beautiful and comfortable home!
