It is also near Kielder Water and Kielder Forest Park which have become a focus for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate the region’s rugged terrain and outstanding opportunities for adventure. Tarset Tor is ideally situated for a wide range of activities, being in close proximity to Kielder mountain bike trails, the Reivers Cycle Route, 7Stanes network and River Tyne fishing, as well as the famous coast-to-coast byway, Pennine Way and a superb selection of golf courses.
