Settled at the doors of Garajonay National Park, this house is the ideal starting point to enjoy the numerous attractions of this impressive natural region. We provide a cosy ambient in the living room with it chimeny, the BBQ area and the garden The house has been totally reformed, always thinking about the traveller, and respecting the Gomera rustique style, where woods, thick stone walls and original roofs tiles predominate. The inside is simple and functional. The rooms are comfortable and allowed perfect conditions for rest and tranquillity. Enjoy the ample terraces and barbacue in an unique surronding, right in the center of the Garajonay National Park at La Gomera, with some spectatular views. Located in the mountains of El Cedro at La Gomera, this little village contains interesting examples of traditional Canarian architecture, with stone and masonry houses located in an idyllic setting at the doors of Garajonay National Park. Take into consideration that this is a small village and there are no supermarket or shops nearby. Regarding the restaurants, there is a very good one 10 minutes walking from the house, where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Public bus services are not very good in La Gomera, and if you would like to visit and enjoy the island, a car is definitively the best way to do it. Hiking: The thick laurisilva woodland at Garajonay National Park covers like a green blanket most of the park. This woodland is a living reliquia of the tertiary and only a few examples are left in some fortunate parts of the planet. Walking the different trails that you’ll find right at your door is, without a doubt, the best way to fully experience its wonders. Astronomy: Look up to the skies and check out the amazing views of the stars...nothing like you have ever seen before! Garden: The house includes a garden where we grow organic food, offering a delightful variety of trees and plants. Take a time to reconnect with the land and enjoy fresh and healthy ingredients. Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz. Das Haus inmitten der Natur gelegen ist ideal für Menschen die es vorziehen etwas abseits zu sein. Der Kontakt mit Antonio war top - er hat uns bei allen Fragen bestens Auskunft gegeben. Dieses Haus können wir sehr weiter empfehlen!

Great House in the Jungle

Great location, clean house, everything you needed was in the house. The road down to the house is a bit difficult to drive on. Unfortunately we had bad luck. They are working at the road right next to the house, which was very noisy. They told me they would finish the work this week, right after we left :-(

Nos agradaron sobremanera todos los aspectos de la casa y su entorno. Únicamente consideramos que el letrero que indica la dirección hacia Los patos, muy cerca ya de la casa, se ve con mucha dificultad, habría que resaltarlo. Saludos

Premier séjour à la Gomera

le gîte Los Patos est très confortable , c'est un hébergement typique de la Goméra en période hivernale le chauffage est le bienvenu j'ai adoré l'atmosphère mystérieuse de la forêt des nuages. A partir du gîte l'Hermitage de Lourdes et de nombreux autres chemins sont a votre porté , le matin on est réveillé par le champ des oiseaux quel bonheur !

Very nice cottage on the edge of the laurasilva forest of the National Park. Very comfortable and quiet, so a splendid location to discover the National park. Very nice road to reach the house.

Lugar idóneo para visitar La Gomera

El alojamiento tiene de todo para pasar unos días visitando la isla, y es idóneo para realizar rutas de senderismo en Garajonay. La casa está en un lugar privilegiado, con unas vistas magníficas. La carretera de acceso es un poco estrecha, pero te acostumbras enseguida, ya que no hay mucho tráfico.

Prachtige plek in the middle of nowhere, fantastisch huis, heerlijke openhaard, goede bedden.

Aanrader als je van de natuur houdt, stilte. Heerlijk huis met alles erop en eraan, echt je eigen landgoedje. We hadden geluk met het weer in januari, echter in de ochtend geen zon. Fris in de avond maar dan is er die werkelijk fantastische openhaard. Huisje is op en top verzorgd.
