The cabin and property is beautiful. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the woods, with only the sound of the breeze and the gentle waves of the lake, this place is for you! The host is attentive to your needs and easy to communicate with.

Perfect place for a quiet getaway with my sister- and her dog! So dog friendly! Well equipped kitchen, spacious, and everything you could want in a stay. Cabin feel is present- but without the camping experience!

This was a fantastic find! It’s clean, incredibly cozy, and truly comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The space came with many of the essential amenities, making it feel like a home away from home for us and our dogs. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches: detailed instructions for everything in the house and a great guide with local suggestions for things to do and places to eat. It made settling in and planning our days so much easier. I’d definitely rent this place again!

Lake Superior Vibes

Great cabin, in a secluded setting. Wonderful launching point to discover the adjacent towns and the Apostle Islands. The town of Herbster is charming and Cornucopia is a little gem! We enjoyed the firepit area, and the great stockpile of nicely cut wood. We enjoyed the call of loons, and several bear sitings. Erin is a great host, and responsive. Great vibes by the most amazing of the Great Lakes!

Peaceful, better than the listing's photos!

My family (including dog) stayed at Cedar Ridge and were floored by the property! The landscaping, paths, and overall property were well planned. It's nestled in a quiet, quaint peninsula, exceptionally cozy space inside. I'd highly recommend!

Peaceful Perfection!

The cabin was perfectly cozy and comfortable and made for a wonderful family vacation!!! The cabin was well equipped and very clean. The grounds were were beautifully taken care of and provided us hours of pleasure as we watched the sun rises and sun sets every day over the water. The cabin was very accommodating for our 2 old labs..it was obvious that Erin is a fan of pups because she covered everything that pup owners might need for our furry family members! Erin was a gracious hostess and very attentive. She provided answers to all of our questions in a timely manner and her suggestions for restaurants and activities were spot on. Another memorable family adventure was put into our books--and we have Erin to thank...Thank you Erin!!

This was an absolutely wonderfull place!! Had everything we wanted. So private. Nice view of the lake cabin was very spacious and very clean inside and out!! I will definitely be considering this place again in the future and would highly recommend it to others as well

Beautiful cabin and property with all the essentials!

My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The cabin is stocked with all the essentials and was clean and roomy. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and fire pit, wood and splitter. I will definitely be back someday. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us.

Annual Sister Getaway

We had an amazing stay! The location was close enough to all the places we wanted to visit and the cabin was quiet, relaxing and had a beautiful view. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed during our stay and the beds were comfortable. We really loved the screened-in porch for playing games and relaxing after our days out and about! We had one small issue that was resolved with an email and a quick response from the host!

Our new favorite place!

It was an amazing girls weekend staying in a such a beautiful cabin… the property itself was a slice of heaven…but the cabin was gorgeous! We all have kitchen envy, too! Erin was amazing to communicate with and was exceptionally friendly and helpful… we participated in purchasing LOCAL fish, meats, veggies, eggs from Elsewhere Farms at Erin’s recommendation and were very impressed with the quality! The dog friendly aspect of the cabin was wonderful so our furry friends had fun too! Even though it was off season and pretty much everything was closed for the season, we had wonderful walks and campfires and an afternoon out to Elsie Blue and fun store and local bar with amazing staff. Thank you for a great weekend! We will be back!

Relaxing at Lake Superior

We have visited the south shore of Lake Superior every summer for many years. This location was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. A nice front porch to watch the sun rise over the lake. We heard loons calling and had eagles flying by. We've already booked for next year!
