The room was clean and attractive with a nice view of the back treed area. A basic room. Lacked seating in the room such as a desk area. One inside wooden chair provided. It was very central to the market and we walked to two beaches. One beach, the closest, apparently was not recommended for swimming. The second beach down the road was the touristy one with lifeguard and a restaurant area. We enjoyed that.
The room is not ideal for an older person ( I am 62) for safety reasons. The shower is in the tub and not easy to get in and out. No grab bars. The floor area also has a section with a drop to a different level of about 5 inches. I travelled during this trip from China ( stayed in Shanghai and Beijing) and travelled into Taiwan and stayed at 5 different places. The breakfast here was the worst. Very disappointing to arrive and receive a coupon for food down the street. Very small breakfast could be obtained there. The facility also does not have a common area except for the receiving desk area. So one is limited to staying in your room. We were out mostly so this was not an issue but may be for others so I note it. Also no elevator.
