We never got passed check-in! On May 6, I spoke with Marriot reservation staff and staff at TownePlace Suites and was told I have a room for May 8 - 9. Got to hotel at 9:00PM May 8 for 9:00AM Southern MS graduation on May 9, had paid for room 3.5 weeks in advance, was told there were pipe problems in room, so I had no room. Instead of putting my name on a different room, the hotel sold them all! The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, along with Hotels.com customer service rep., called other hotels, and found a room at another hotel 8 minutes away. Instead of TownePlace Suites paying the difference for another hotel room, Hotels.com had to pay! TownePlace Suites was at fault for not providing a room for a prepaid patron since their facilities failed, not Hotels.com!

Wonderful visit for College

I checked in on the wrong date at Towneplace Suites. They told me I could still check in they would just need the payment from Hotels.com. I had paid online so I didn’t want to pay twice. I was on the phone 3 different times with supervisors trying to get the payment sent through. Thanks to the patient ladies who worked the front desk. The overnight attendant showed up before midnight. She took charge of the situation and had us in a room. The process took almost 3 hours. The stay was great. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. I'ts my own mistake booking the wrong dates. I'm thankful to everyone being kind and polite.

Needs a lot fixed

I stay with towneplace quite often, but in different areas. This one needs a face lift. The drain in the shower was broken, the desk was broken, no comforter for the pull out bed, stains on the sheets, bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed, night stand drawers wouldn’t stay closed, the fridge had rust on it. There’s a laundry list of items this place needs to update. Great staff, shabby place. I was not impressed.

Awful stay

FALSE ADVERTISING. Terrible stay. Everything is old, dirty and rundown. In desperate need of a remodel. Does not match the pictures listed for the 2 bedroom suite we booked. The fridge in the room was all rusted. The couch pullout bed was so unfit to sleep on that we ended up with all 3 kids in one bed. Everything in the room was just grimy looking. It definitely needs a deep cleaning, re caulking, paint touch ups and new furniture. A dresser drawer in one of the bedrooms was broken. The tvs also need to be upgraded. They didn’t work right the whole time we stayed. One wasn’t working at all when we arrived and the other had constant lines across the screen and the sound only worked sometimes. Their breakfast was extremely limited and disgusting. It consisted of warm cream cheese for bagels and eggs that were like rubber mush with no flavor. I would not stay here again and do not recommend this place at all.

Comfy stay.

My experience was great. I booked a suite with kitchen for 4 nights while visiting family. The rooms were clean and came with everything needed for my stay. The staff was very nice and helpful also.
