Would try a different hotel in the future

A three-night family trip to Hattiesburg. Positive: ideal location to restaurants, shopping, parks, trail, zoo, etc. The pool area was nice but not enough umbrellas at all to provide shade during most of the day! Breakfast ran out of food every morning, despite arriving early. Breakfast eating area is cramped and crowded. Things could be rearranged to make it more spacious for guests. Commune stairways and hallways were not as clean as other TownePlace Suites we’ve stayed at. Immediately after checking in we had to request fresh bedding for the pullout couch because it hadn’t been replaced and was very visibly nasty/spoiled. Kitchenette area was obviously not wiped down but we didn’t say anything because we just wanted to move forward. If we ever were to return to Hattiesburg we would try a different hotel. It wasn’t horrible though.

Nice clean hotel

I had no major issues. It was a last minute booking needed to replace a cabin that was in not clean condition. The beds were not the best. And could have had better seating for watching tv. But all in all it was a great place. No major complaints

Good, Could Be Better

Overall, this place was a good (but not excellent) stopover after a long day of driving. The staff was nice, the parking was free and adequate, the area felt fairly safe, the beds were decently comfortable, and our suite was generally clean. The bathroom, however, was a bit of a disaster; it smelled like mold mixed with sweat, it had nowhere to hang towels up, the fan barely worked, and the bathtub constantly dripped. The pet fee was unfortunately steep as well. There was also a remote missing from the TV, but the staff helped us out with that.

The property was great-the only problem was that it said it was pet friendly. No where on the sight did it say it had a pet fee or what it was. We were all booked in and then it was oh by the way it is $100 for your pet. I don’t mind paying a pet fee but this was twice what any other place has charged. We would not have chosen it had we known ahead of time.

Very nice for the price.

It was a great stay. The two ladies at the front desk the night we checked in were Fabulous. Very welcoming and a joy to chat with. Breakfast was your normal free breakfast. Good not great but free. Coming back in a few months and will be staying here again.
