We enjoyed our stay there. Excellent location, we could walk to any of the several restaurants across the street. The walkways and driveway were cleared of snow for us which was really nice to not have to worry about that. He even cleared off the car. If we're ever in the area again we would stay here again for sure.

James was very welcoming and helpful. The home is in a great location, near many restaurants. The home is spacious and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable overall, if a bit rustic. Overall a great place in this part of Connecticut.

Wonderful stay. Cute, clean, well organized, stocked and the owner was very responsive when we had a power issue that was 100% out of their control. He even shared some local recommendations including an oddities museum across the street!

James is a great host! His property is very clean- I am picky clean and it exceeded my expectations. Location is perfect for walking for a local delicious coffee at Perkatory (amazing GF muffin too), full breakfast at Gregory's, ice cream or pizza just a street away. Bed's were comfy as well as the couches. Highly recommend and we will be back.

This was the perfect space for our family. I read reviews about the steep steps and small bathroom but neither were a problem for us. Everything was clean, it was well stocked and the host was responsive prior to our trip. I did not have to contact himnduring the trip for anything.

A Great Place to Stay

Spacious, clean and well appointed. Three generous bedrooms and a large kitchen. Weather was too cold to use it, but the enclosed porch is lovely. Several new appliances, very clean linens.

Just like home

This place is amazing. It has just such a homey feel to it. My 2 year son and I stayed here and he absolutely loved it and to me it just felt like a nice comfort, home environment and when you’re traveling that’s all you really want is a place that makes you feel at home and that’s what you get when you stay here.

Close to everything, spacious

This property is a remodeled older house. With all that old house charm. It is spacious and has three bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The couch is extremely comfortable and it was great watching TV and sipping wine.

Incredible Location, Friendly Host

Me and some friends were staying here to help with another friends’ wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! All of the appliances worked well, the place was clean and well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. Host was incredibly kind and friendly, and recommended multiple spots to visit. I would definitely go back!

Apple Harvest Festival

We visited Southington for the Apple harvest festival. This was a perfect location, walking distance to everything dealing with the festival. Great barbecue joint across the street. Jim, the host was great very friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice place in downtown Southington

We had a rocky check in but once that was sorted out the stay was very nice (the owner forgot to send us the code to access the unit and could not be reached for about two hours, but did apologize for this and made sure we were alright). It’s an older building with a floor plan to match. It was in good condition, clean, air conditioned and in a safe location with off-street parking. The kitchen and bedrooms are decently stocked, including some basic toiletries and extra linens. The unit is located right in the downtown of Southington within perfect walking distance of restaurants and local businesses. Once we got checked in we enjoyed our stay.
