Rooms are in terrible condition. Clean, but very, very tired. They have seen much better days. Staff was pretty friendly! Thank you! Even though the check in was at 4 PM (!!!!), the room was not ready until 5 PM. It was OK as we spent extra time exploring the vicinity. The location is nice as it is right near all the restaurants and cafes in Harrison.

Stay elsewhere! I normally don’t complain as I’m a fairly basic traveller, but this place deserves to be given a negative review. Upon check in, I was told I would not be receiving the king room I booked and given a queen instead. That wasn’t the biggest deal but it was the start of the negative experience. The real problem is the condition/cleanliness. The entire hotel is in disrepair. Probably one of the worst/grossest hotel bathrooms I’ve ever walked into. Visible mold in the shower, tile grout was orange from grime - clearly hadn’t been scrubbed in quite some time. Black hair stuck to different parts of the mirror, sink drain was stuck and water would take minutes to go down. The pressboard Vanity was absorbing water and starting to grow mold, and was disintegrating. Carpets and couch fabric was absolutely dirty. Looked to be gum stuck to carpet as well as burns. Hallway carpet was gross. Walls and doors had grime and fingerprints on them. Everything needs to be renovated in this hotel. Not just for an update but because it is unsanitary.

My partner and I recently stayed at Harrison Lake Hotel for Valentine’s Day from February 13-15th. We were very excited to have a nice little getaway to celebrate the occasion. Upon arrival the front desk attendant was very accommodating and kind! Gave us two passes to the public pool and brought cutlery up for our takeout dinner. When we entered our room, there was a very strong smell of smoke as well as our bathtub was very dirty. The room did not seem clean whatsoever and the outlets did not work as well so we had to move one of the beds in order for the lamp to turn on. The hallways were very loud early mornings as well as late at night, understandably as it was a long weekend however. We love Harrison and so we’re very excited for this stay. I am not one to complain but I would like to give the hotel a chance to either refund my original payment method, we would also be willing to try the hotel again in maybe an upgraded room as that is what we were hoping for based on what we had paid.

There was no heat on the floor. They had placed a portable heater in our room. We had this for our whole stay. 3 days. We reserved a room with a Kitchenette that was not properly maintained. Nothing but a microwave and mini fridge. I have stayed at nicer Motels than this Hotel. As soon as you step in the elevator it’s dirty and so old and grungy. The hallways are questionable at best with nasty brown stains on the ceiling title. There was ants in our room in February. This hotel is in desperate need of some tlc and Reno’s. The main entrance is the only nice place it has.

The location is perfect which gives you access to all the stores within a 5 minute walk. Plenty of free parking at this hotel. They also provide a free hotel voucher to access the local mineral pool. This time I paid only $62 (Cdn) per night and for that price it was well worth it.
