The room itself was clean and appeared recently renovated, and all staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The gentleman at check-in was especially pleasant and helpful. However, overall, the stay was disappointing.
The breakfast area was poorly maintained. Tables were dirty and didn’t appear to be cleaned between guests, and the buffet counter was messy. The eggs sat empty for a long time and were stone cold when finally refilled (from a plastic bag). What I can only assume was turkey bacon was also cold and nearly empty, and nothing was labeled. The waffles were good, but the breakfast seating area was far too small, leaving many guests taking food back to their rooms because there was nowhere to sit.
The room had several comfort issues as well. The shower was spacious, but the water pressure was terrible. There was no body wash provided, only shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The bed was extremely firm, the pillows were uncomfortable, and there were no extras in the room.
The exterior grounds also need significant attention despite the interior renovations.
The biggest issue was the noise. Our room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, and the noise carried through constantly. The guests next door were extremely loud, with children yelling, screaming, and banging starting around 6 a.m.
Overall, while the staff was kind and the room was clean, the lack of comfort, poor breakfast experience, and noise issues made this stay disappointing.
