The cottage was small but very well equipped with everything we needed for a 3-night stay. We appreciated being welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates! There were many nice touches and attention to detail, very impressively organized for such a small space. The location is convenient to trails, nature preserves, restaurants, and scenic views. There was plenty to entertain us on a rainy day - TV, books, puzzles, games, and comfortable furniture for hanging out.
A couple of minor negatives - the bunk beds are very small, appropriate for children but too small for adults. My adult daughter ended up sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living room. Also, the place was a bit damp and musty, but turning on the heat improved it.
Overall, we were very happy with the cabin and would stay there again.
