This is a house with beautiful wood grain that was built using traditional construction methods during the Taisho era
This is a valuable building where you can feel the history and culture of Enshu We look forward to receiving reservations from those who will cherish it and use it with great care to pass it on to the next generation / Although the house is for rent please rest assured that the manager lives in the house on the premises

You can do simple cooking in the kitchen You can also try cooking rice in the stove If you would like to do so please speak to the manager

There are no screens In the summer insects may be a nuisance
We use a Daruma stove in the winter and an electric fan and a hand fan in the summer You can enjoy the surrounding environment including cherry blossoms in the spring and fireflies

Absolutely beautiful house, plenty of space with a beautiful garden and large kitchen. I loved the smell of the aged wood, very cozy and even has an air conditioner. The owners are very nice, they speak good English and make you feel welcomed. They have two adorable and friendly cats that will come visit you. I highly suggest this house, you won’t be disappointed.
