Situated just a few minutes walk from the historic Hadrian's Wall in stunning countryside, this lovely self catering apartment adjoins the Milecastle Inn (please note that the pub is closed on a Wednesday during the winter months from the 1st September till the end of February) Our cosy pub has a reputation for outstanding food, well kept ales and a good selection of wines. It is perfect for a holiday away whilst enjoying all the comforts of home.
On the AD122 Hadrian's Wall Country Bus Route and 2 miles from Haltwhistle Train Station.
Ideal for walkers, explorers or those who just want a chilled getaway. The location is in the heart of an area known as the "Centre of Britain" and surrounded by the amazing historic attractions of the ancient Romans.
The apartment is owned and run by the publicans of this family run business who are on hand to help you enjoy your stay.
It is a perfect place to relax and offers TV and internet access with a sizeable lounge and kitchen and a separate bedroom, with one double bed.
The bathroom is off the bedroom, and has a bath with shower, toilet and sink.

PERFECT location Great food
If you want to visit and learn about Hadrian's Wall, there is no better location. Three miles from the Roman Soldier Museum, three miles the other way from Vindolanda museum and excavation. One mile the other way to Cawfield Quarry to hike. Plus great Pub food and comfortable inn.
