Could not have been treated better. After arriving after check-in limit 8:00pm, our family was able to go in and sleep confortably. Next day, really good breakfast and treated as nobres by the owner for a very good breakfast.

Cozy stay

We enjoyed 4 nights near Salzburg. Very nice location and easy to get around with a rental car. Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts and clean rooms.

Camping Hotel with amazing host

Sort of a youth hostel vibe in the rooms. Thin and old sheets and towels, heat controlled at a central point. Great host and varied breakfast. Nice surprise of a free bus pass to get into Salzburg.

Had a great time. Nice, warm and cosy place. Bus stop is right next door and i found public transport very good. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. Lovely view from our room window. Check out is 10 but we were given extra time so we could catch a bus. I would highly recommend this place away from the hustle and bustle of Salzburg but still very close.

We had a great stay at Auwirt. The owners made us feel right at home as soon as we checked in. We enjoyed beautiful sighting of the Alps at the property along with a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is a bit away from Salzburg's downtown but it has a bus stop just at front, and Salzburg's bus system is just excellent. We had a train to take to Budapest early one morning and were able to get to the train station (which is about 30 minutes away) right on time. Thank you for the Great Experience.

Excellent service, breakfast was amazing. The place is half renovated so feels partially outdated though. Location not great - on the main road (not at all noisy), but nothing within walking distance.

住了3晚，虽然走廊装修了，房间内部很旧，毛巾旧，没水杯，房间连垃圾桶都没有，只有厕所有个小小的垃圾桶。要求后倒是送来一个临时的， 厕所地垫很滑，差点滑倒。，山景房，被窗外的大树挡住，看不到啥风景，灯光 安排不合理，该亮的地方不亮。无电梯，窗户隐私不好，窗口正对对面的走廊。窗外马路有点吵，地点不是很好找。不值这个价格。 好的一点是有投币洗衣机。 Not worth the money. not recommended.

Warm and welcoming

We had the best 3-night stay at Auwirt. Margaret is a wonderful hostess! She greets her guests by name and makes sure that you love your stay, both in the ease and comfort of their small hotel. Auwirt is a nice quiet place with a great cold breakfast spread, including fresh smoothies, We enjoyed the Biergarten with Austrian fare. Margaret is also very helpful when planning variety of fun local excursions, most being within 20 min. We made two trips to Bertchesgaden and Königssee because we enjoyed the lake so much. We also went to the Eagle’s Nest (go early if you hope to get parking. Otherwise take the public bus up to the starting point.) Again, thank you for your attentive hospitality, Auwirt staff. We hope to visit again in the future!

The most friendly hotel staff

The service and friendly staff at Auwirt are outstanding! They made us feel right at home. The location is great, with access to Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, and lots of other places. We had breakfast at the hotel. It was fresh and there were so many good options that it was difficult to choose! Over all, we will stay here again when we come back to this area.
