The property is spacious, easy to access, and has a great location, with easy walking to a convenience store, restaurants, and the harbor. It was not very well cleaned, and amenities were the bare minimum (one small rag in the kitchen, no paper towels, had to search for extra tp, no hand towels for bathrooms, carpets grubby). Upon arrival, there were a lot of cigarette butts and other trash in the driveway that a member of our group picked up (this may not have been in control of the host, but they should be aware).

This house has a very good walkable location to restaurants, shops, ocean views. It is a large house which was clean except for the bathrooms were gross and outdated. We didn’t even want to take showers or use the tub because stained and very dated. There wasn’t even any actual bath rugs, just old carpet square that wasn’t washable. The exterior was in such a run down condition that we didn’t even use it. They do appear to be fixing things up as the kitchen was fairly modern. The overall house was a great size for our Father’s Day family vacation. I would rent it again because of the positive features of size and location but others should keep in mind that it is not quite set up with supplies as other VRBO properties. Bring your own paper towels and kitchen towels, wash rags. Very little supplied.

The location was fantastic, with easy walking access to restaurants, shopping, and the beach.Check-in communication could have been better. When I messaged the owner the day before check-in asking for details, he said he would provide them the next day. However, I did not receive the information until I followed up again within an hour of our arrival. The cleaning person was still finishing up at check-in time and needed an additional 20 minutes, which was not a major issue.The property also appeared to need more attention to maintenance and preparation. The yard was overgrown with weeds, and the deck had significant dry rot, including actual holes in the decking. One railing was being held together with tape because the wood was splitting. The deck chairs were office chairs rather than the chairs shown in the listing photos. Inside, some accessories still had Ross price tags attached, and the picture frames displayed the generic photos they came with, making the home feel as though it had been prepared in a hurry.
