Booked honeymoon suite with terrace on a newer boat, Lapinta Luxury Cruises, paid it in full and it was non refundable, just to have the company message me directly after booking it saying there was a computer error and the boat and room I booked was not available. However they did have a room that was comparable on a different boat. Blue Diamond Cruises. I had no choice to accept it since it was non refundable. The boat was an older boat and room was not even close to being comparable to the one I booked. It was just a room with a balcony, nothing special. The bathroom was dirty and moldy. In fact after making friends on the boat I found out our room was just like everyone else’s. This company has a scam going and are using Expedia to help them scam people. How convenient to advertise a room that probably doesn’t exist which is non refundable and then offer them a room on a different older boat. Was very unsatisfied and disappointed. Not worth the money we paid. Also it says 2 days 1 night, by the time they take you to the boat I think it ended up being around 1:30 pm then they have you check out the next morning at 9:30 and your off the boat and finished with the cruise by 11:00am the next morning. Not even totaling one full day. It is a scam. Don’t waste your money. I probably won’t use Expedia to book anything else, in fear of getting scammed again. With all that being said, the staff on the boat were very friendly and attentive. It’s not their fault.
