A lovely location on the Coromandel Peninsula, perfect for families in a safe resort park setting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with cooking facilities which will probably come in very handy as there is very little available in the "village" of Hahei itself in terms of cafe / restaurants particularly in the evening at end of season when we visited. Having said that, the General Store has a good range and a good cup of coffee can be had at a couple of places. Facilities in the park are good for families with kids - and of course you are right on the beach. There are a number of attractions nearby such as Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove and Cooks Beach and a cute ferry across to Whitianga. A shuttle bus operates from a large car park in the village providing access to the attractions of Cathedral Cove.
