Wonderful hotel but they tried to charge me 3 percent fee to use credit card. No one has tried that over here yet. That needs to be disclosed at hotels.com. Also, the room really needs an easy chair. All I had was bed to sit on. For this reason I knocked rating to 4 because that was not really comfortable. Otherwise everything else 5 plus!!!!

They have made our stay so comfortable and nice, we had to come back from our trip to Ha Long Bay. They provided extra towels for my daughter, held our luggages to our room, opens the door every time we enter or exit, and were always smiling and attentive. Oh, and breakfast was out of this world. Rooftop bar has amazing view, pool is clean, although very slippery. They offer 20 different food on top of pho, omelet etc. I ate passionfruit everyday. Overall fantastic stay.

It was not a very good hotel. Pool is not very nice, no lounge chairs, no towels. Got accused of stealing a towel, which was just stupid. Would not stay there again as there are dozens of other options nearby.

Helpful and kind staff, but not a clean hotel.

Booked two days here for attending a day cruise in Ha Long Bay. When we arrived the hotelroom was dirty. The walls had stains and the room was dirty. The bedsheets were also not clean and had stains. The receptionist was very helpful and got us a new room. However this also had stains on the bed sheets. There was a musty smell in both rooms. We left one day early, since we didnā€™t want to stay here for one more night.

Sweet little hotel

Only stayed one night. The room was very clean, and the bed just grabbed a hold of you like you and said, "close your eyes now, ive got you". Yes, that comfortable!

Great staff and good location.

The hotel is not amazing but absolutely okey, its close to the cruising pier so the location is good. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff and especially Bac, she was so amazing with handeling some problems that happened during my stay and IĀ“m so greatful for all of her help.

The best part was the staff, so very friendly and helpful. The breakfast omelettes were great, with a view of the harbor. The room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. Highly recommend, especially for the money.

Disappointing from the Beginning

At our arrival we were met by a reception area crowded with very noisy and boisterous Vietnamese guests. Whilst the hotel staff was apologetic to us, they did not consider it necessary to do something about it. My impression was that they did not have it in them to tell the other guests to tone it down. We were given a good-size room on the 6th floor, with which we were pretty happy and had no issue. However, other guest on the same floor, failed again keeping the noise down, so that we were woken up early by those going on day trips. A breakfast buffet was served until 9 am on the 7th floor. To avoid the crowd, we were advised to have our breakfast after 8 am. Unfortunately by then not only the crowd had gone, but most of the food too. Most disappointingly, the staff were not proactive enough to check on the food until we asked them to top up the buffet with food, coffee, juice, milk etc. When asked about our experiece at the hotel, we provided sincere, constructive feedback, making it clear that we felt let down. All in all we consider the hotel to offer good accommodation with decent facilities. If we are asked to recommend it to foreign guests, however, based on our experience, we would probably tend not to do so.
