There were a couple of big issues that required urgent attention, and management stepped up big time for the first one and scared the hell out of us with the second one (a maintenance worker in our unit while we were out had come in unannounced, blocking our parking space and leaving the door ajar).
Otherwise, the stay was a pleasant one as it was last year (and hopefully in 2024). The beach is still lovely, the proximity to the waves can’t be beat, and—while there was that aforementioned communication error—communication was otherwise good and the solution to our problems good ones.
Something should be said about the condition of the unit itself, which was markedly dissipated from the condition last year. One handle of the refrigerator was torn off, some water spouts and outlets were not working or were flimsy, ice machine apparently broken, etc. There are signs the unit needs some real work, and I hope this happens soon.
