Excellent Host and Condo

Amazing stay for a week at the beach. The hosts were amazing and informative. Ammenities are great we absolutely love The Plantation and we had enough room for everyone in the condo. The ground floor made it easier to just walk out the beach or let the littles play on the patio. Highly reccomend and will have to book it next year!

Relaxing location

Condo was perfect, loved being on ground floor on the end of the building. Perfect location in Fort Morgan!! Beach access was short board walk with no steps! Restaurant and bar on site was added plus!

Loved Plantation Palms

The bottom floor was great. Easy to pull the wagon straight to the patio. Super convenient to leave the beach for lunch or walk straight out to the pool. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great place!

The room was perfect for me, my husband & 4 children. Clean & cozy with everything we could possibly need on vacation. Loved being on the ground floor so the kids could walk right outside to play in the grass area & easy access to head to the beach or pool or just take a walk without having to lug up and down stairs or wait for elevators. Perfect location for family especially with children with a lot to do just within the complex. Owners were very accommodating & personal & helpful with everything! We had a great time and would definitely return!

Great condo! Very clean and pretty. Ground floor is a bonus and makes it so convenient when you have small children. No stairs or elevators! I would definitely stay again. The best part are the owners Al and Chris. They are just a call, text or email away if you have questions and they answer promptly. Dont hesitate to rent this awesome condo!

Best Experience in 27 years

We could not have been accommodated any better. Chris and Al were very personable. We love the fact that it was on the bottom floor. So convenient for the little ones and us grown ups. I would recommend them to anyone. Except for the weeks we want to be there. Thank you for the best experience we could have had. See you next year!

Truly a paradise location!!

Our stay at Al & Chris' condo was amazing, and we are already planning our trip back to their place. You couldn't ask for better when you have Littles and a bunch of stuff you're wanting to take to the beach. Being on the ground floor was GREAT for us. Super easy access to the beach, the sassy bass island grill, the pools, etc. We didn't have the most ideal weather, but it was so nice to open the back patio and sit out there or walk straight to the beach without having to carrying things up & down stairs. The amenities in the condo are all very nice and updated. A fully furnished kitchen made meals so easy for a party of 7! Thank you Al & Chris for a truly wonderful stay! Your constant communication and hospitality with us was very much appreciated!

Perfect for Families with Kids!

Everything about the listing was spot on- the photos, the descriptions, the amenities. Al and Chris were wonderful communicators and I knew I could text or call with any issues. If you go to the beach with kids, you know how much they love to take to and from the sand (toys, shells, buckets, etc) and the ease of being on the first floor cannot be overstated! No waiting for elevators or dragging tired children upstairs. You are right beside the tennis court with a straight shot to the walkway that puts you right on the sand. We rented from the company that sets up on the beach and they are easy to work with as well (set up from 9-5). We chose to cook all our meals at the condo and had everything we needed as far as pots and pans and utensils. We have already decided we will be returning to this condo in the future!

Vacation can be stressful. Let’s face it, you try to pack everything to make sure everyone stays happy. At Al and Chris’s don’t stress. Everything is pretty much worked out. Plenty of pots and pans. Amazing blender. If you are a pot a day coffee drinker they got you covered. If you just like your one cup in the Keurig, then that’s covered! Plantation Palms has it all including an onsite restaurant if you want to eat out and not leave. If the weather isn’t great, that’s ok…you have the option of games and movies that the owners provide you or the indoor pools. We played pickleball, remembered to carry a couple of putters so the kids could play on the putting green, played football in the green-space, tossed around the baseball, played volleyball, grilled out, and of course spent so much time at the beach. We watched dolphins every single day, toured Fort Morgan, took the Mobile Ferry across to Fort Gaines and ate at Dockside on Dauphin Island. We also enjoyed Tacky Jacks II right down the road. Usually our rule of thumb is to eat breakfast and lunch at the condo, eat dinner out and we did except grilling out one night. We drove into Gulf Shores and ate at Desotos and Oyster House which are always a staple when you come in. Leaving is always the hard part but the instructions were so simple except packing up. If I could have just not left I would have. On the way out we stopped at Ducks Diner. Thank you for sharing your fabulous condo with us! We will definitely be back!
