Quaint Connecticul Seaside town

Great place to stay if you would like to visit Guilford, and other area towns. My kids thought they were in a Gilmore Girls episode. Very well managed property and the few questions we had were answered in minutes via text.

Nice home close to town and beach

Pros: Close to town Nicely appointed. Lots of common space. Nice neighborhood Attached 3 season porch Cons: Yard needs Maintenace; overgrown shrubs and weeds, some make it difficult to see leaving driveway and use sidewalk as well as getting to trash/recycle area ants in kitchen

Family Fun

My family drove down to CT from Rochester NY for family day at my daughter’s college. When we arrived at your home, we were very pleased with the location, surrounding neighborhood, the town the house was located, and the house itself. We were very comfortable and felt as if all our amenities were met. We really enjoyed walking to Jacob’s Beach—such a pretty place. We will definitely stay at this home again.

Great family location

Very close to the beach (with large playground and splash pad) and a 15 minute walk to town. Comfy beds with nice linens and plenty of towels. Included beach towels and chairs as well as a beach wagon. Host very responsive. Have stayed there before and will stay there again!

Wedding

We had a wedding at the Guilford Yacht Club so the location of the house was perfect! We were close to all of the activities and were able to spend down time at the beach. The house was clean and a great size for our family. I would definitely recommend a stay at Seaside Serenity!

Great for all ages!

Lovely location near the beach/playground with views of wetlands. House was clean and beds comfortable. One mile walk to beautiful town green surrounded by shops and great restaurants. Excellent communication with host. We will stay there again!

Fantastic house

We had an extraordinary time at this getaway while work saw done at our house in guilford. We loved being by the shire and walking to lunch. Fantastic house would recommend

House Was Disappointing

In summary the house was disappointing. As a current VRBO owner ourselves with 40 five-star reviews, we are well aware of what customer service is all about. The house has many deficiencies: no washing machine (although I provided several local Rent-a-Center locations, that fell on deaf ears). It was noted by the property management that there was a dispute with a former guest, however current and future guests shouldn’t be inconvenienced when this happened 4 months ago as noted in a July review. The management did offer up a laundry service but did not offer to pay for it. There was no central tv only in the bedroom’s. There was no table lamp near the bed in the master BR and the lamp there had faulty wiring. Wi-Fi was spotty, and upon arrival at night the house had no lights so was hard to find. There were no instructions on how an electric fireplace worked in the LR, which was the only source of light and heat in the room. There is a more lengthy list of action items provided to Creekwood Vacations, hopefully they’ll. Take note and make some corrections. We would not stay at this location again.

Great location

The Home needs updating, painting, newer carpet (smelled smoky & musty). As well as cleaner landscape & front entry. Screen door didn't shut and laundry did not work.

Perfect Family Beach House

Property was a short walk to a smallish town beach with a playground area. Perfect set up in home for multi generational family beach vacation. Property well maintained. Definitely a gem for families with young children!

Cozy Vacation Home

Thanks for the great stay! We were in the area for a family function and this gave us the best of all worlds. We had multiple generations and everyone agreed: great location near the Beach and soccer fields, close to the train station too, Guilford Moorings restaurant down the road is excellent, cozy sofa in living room, well equipped kitchen, great hot showers, bonus living room suite space for down time, big screen tvs in every bedroom, AC in every bedroom including the suite. Loved the sunset views of the marsh in the backyard. Cute bunnies and lots of bird life are a plus! All in all a great space with lots of flexibility. Working with Creekwood Vacations was very good in that they could always be reached by phone or the Vrbo messaging. They were very good w/response time. The washer was not available during our stay but they did offer to set up a laundry service. We didn’t need to take them up on that but it would be something to ask ahead in order to have it set up before arriving. We loved the experience of Seaside Avenue and will be back again!

Needs some work

I did not use the property as most would. Just stayed one overnight for a surgical procedure at Guilford hospital and wanted to be close. The house was OK. It was clean inside but it's very worn and needs a lot of sprucing up. The back yard seemed junky. Stuff lying around. Stuff peeling from the siding.

Fun 3 days at the beach

Short walk to multiple beaches and restaurants. Also close to beautiful town center with a large green, activities and shops/restaurants. Easy to get in and out and good communication with host.

Nice location

Great location near Jacob's Beach, which was a perfect little Beach and a nice park. The lock box would not work and it took us almost an hour to get into the place. The representative online was helpful. The air conditioner remotes were not working. And an air conditioner in the living room would be helpful. There were several problems that I let the owner know about. The house is a wonderful size, Linens were wonderful and in general it is a nice rental.

Great spot for a family beach vacation

We had a wonderful week in Guilford. The house was the perfect size and location for a relaxing week at the beach. There was plenty within walking distance to keep everyone from toddler to adult happy, and beautiful parks nearby for the dog. There were great restaurants in walking distance and plenty of great food and grocery stores near by. We will definitely be back!

A great place with lots of room to spread out. Easy walking distance to the beach.

This home met all of our expectations. Clean and had everything we needed. Nice neighborhood, easy walk to Jacob's beach. The kids loved the beach, playground, splashpad, and ice cream truck! The screened porch in the back was a great quiet spot for morning coffee. All in all a great vacation stay, thank you!

Toddler parents rejoice

Located walking distance from a small beach, splash pad, and huge playground, this well-priced family sized rental is a great fit for families with young children. We enjoyed walking to the playground every day and grabbing lemonade from a pop-up fresh squeezed juice bar on the beach. My husband enjoyed the lobster rolls within walking distance on the wharf. It came equipped with a baby gate, pack and play, high chair, beach wagon (with chairs and umbrella), washer/dryer, coffee maker, kitchen supplies and dishwasher. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed our stay. Management was incredibly responsive and we found the listing to be very accurate and a good value for the price point in the area. A week later and my 3 year old is still asking to go back. Book now and enjoy like we did.
