These cottages are in a great location, with a generous amount of quiet beach to enjoy. The property management communicated well and the check in/check out process was very straightforward. That being said, the cottages were somewhat mediocre. Only two of four burners worked on the stove, and there were no additional trash bags other than the one that was in the can when we arrived. Hopefully you remember to bring some if you stay for longer than a day! The hot water is quite finicky, and seems to not keep up with demand. This is with 4 adults taking reasonably short showers. Good luck if you have all 6 sleeping spots occupied. About half of the included chairs at the property were broken or partially broken. The broom and dustpan at our cottage was hidden behind the refrigerator for some odd reason. The method for getting sand off your feet is a cat litter box filled with water and a small included towel. It’s functional but a major pain, especially with small kids who get sand all over themselves.Also, for whatever reason the included coffee maker is a Keurig that has seen better days, so you have to use k-cups or bring your own alternative. If you are a couple or have a group of 4 adults and plan to stay for a brief stay, this is a great property. Otherwise you may want to look elsewhere. Remember to pack any kitchen essentials you can think of if you plan to use the kitchen.

This property was perfect for our family of four. You cannot beat the location and the cottage was very well kept and comfortable for all. The site manager was always very responsive to any questions we had. We already can’t wait to come back!

Great place

We have been coming to these cabins for 10 years haven’t missed a summer even with the change to new owners. Perfect setting cabins newly remodeled bathroom a plus, we will be back next year. Only disappointment the overly bright light out front takes away from the restful night, might suggest new light or no light.

Location is great!

The beach is amazing. And the cottage is open and has great light. The cleanliness was lacking. Lots of dust, dirt in the loft. Definitely not all clean bedding and a few other things. The ownership company didn’t seem concerned. Overall ww would stay again-just wake for extra bedding and being some cleaning wipes.

We had a great time here. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely come back. We had our little issues with the smart shower but thanks to your tech support we did fine. This had nothing to do with the shower it’s just the fact my sister and I are not tech savvy.😁 I appreciate the ease of communication with everything. View was spectacular!!

No hot water for our whole stay and messages went ignored! If you have any issues you are SOL. It’s unfortunate that there is such bad communication and management, but I would never stay here again. Cold showers suck!

Beautiful Beach Getaway

The cabin was cute and the location and beach were absolutely stunning. It was so nice to wake up and literally have the beach sand at your toes off the porch. The showers only had ice cold water for some reason, that was the only downside. However, it was still a very enjoyable stay.

Property cancelled morning of arrival

The property cancelled the morning of arrival so we were forced to scramble to find another place to stay at the last minute. The property claimed there was a plumbing issue that caused them to cancel on us. The customer service person who we spoke with was pleasant to deal with and seemed to genuinely show concern about cancelling on us. The CS rep was the only positive part of this experience.

except bedbugs and hot water issues it’s a great stay

We stayed Lake Huron cottage 3. Wonderful location, great views to lake even from inside the cabin. The rent was pretty reasonable. we also liked the way they keep the house m clean and the kitchen has many appliances. However, cottage 3 has issues showering hot water in bathroom and the smart shower doesn’t work. We experienced similar issues in cottage 4 as well as they suggested us to use that for the first night. Next morning we found a bed bug in cottage 3 and the customer care was very prompt in taking care of this. They immediately made cottage 5 available for us and offered two extras nights for free of costs to compensate all of these hassles. Cottage 5 was as beautiful as 3 and as bad providing hot water in shower as 3 unfortunately. The maintenance never showed up duration our stay amid our continuous request. The morning before our check out the kitchen basin stopped running hot water, we had to do dishes with ice cold water which was really wild and painful. Despite the hot water issue and their lack of commitment sending maintenance, we enjoyed this stay with wonderful lake views and snow.

Had a great time everything was clean and what was to be expected however I had some issues with the smart shower working however I text the people and right away they got back with me with a solution and it worked just fine the rest of my stay! Very pleased !!

The cottage had been recently renovated and we were absolutely amazed on how beautiful the inside was. We didn’t know what to expect but blown away ! The beds were nice and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with very nice cookware. The shower was amazing!!! We have stayed in many cottages up Lake Huron for many years and this by far I would give more than five stars !! We are coming back !!
