Cycladian Dream.
You'd be hard pressed to find a more stylish villa for 6 couples anywhere in the Med, never mind the Cyclades or Antiparos...
It's magnificently designed - each of the 6 en-suite bedrooms a quiet, isolated air-conditioned sanctuary positioned along the beautiful open air terrazzo spine of the house which runs all the way from front door to jaw-dropping west-facing sunset view at the other end.
The living area flows beautifully and endlessly - full-spec catering kitchen into protected BBQ terrace, onto dining and living room that spills onto patio and pool deck - all integrated but with their own function - there's a time for each space and you use them all through the day.
The furnishing is understated, light and contemporary - and does the job of leading your eye outdoors and to the pool and the view of the Aegean - which themselves merge and mirage through the day.
One of the best designed pools - a 20m lap pool joins a relaxing pool with inset loungers, steps and walls so you can loll and chill in the water for hours - which we did.
The housekeeping is exemplary - towels for every function, linen changes as required, tables beautifully laid and cleared - it functions seamlessly.
And so many delights - a hot tub deck, downstairs cinema, soaring ceilings, acres of terrazzo, views forever...
Bear in mind it is isolated and down some rough dirt roads - with a lot of building still happening in the area - but you won't stay anywhere better on Antiparos.
