The house was just what we wanted. After a short back and forth with VRBO we had no trouble with the host. The house was cute and clean. It is on a dirt road in the woods-which was fine with us. I would definitely rent here again. Thanks Jonathan.

The place was very dirty. I found a cloth that someone had wiped their body with. Walls had patch marks that they didn't paint over. Big cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. They started painting the cabin on the inside and didn't finish. There was a lot dirt on the wall by the door going out and it looks like it's been there for a while because they allow animals. Which I was looking for a place that allowed animals. You should wipe the mud off the doors and walls from previous guest. I did talk to the owner and he was rude with me because he thought I was trying to get something for nothing. I told him that I'd pay for the night I stayed there but I wanted my money back because I was canceling for the other two nights. He did give me my money back. but wasn’t going to at first. I'm sad that I had to give him a bad review that cabin has a lot of potential but it has not been taken care of very well. The porch was dirty the back porch was dirty. The bathroom window you couldn't even see out of it cause it was so dirty. I'm a farm girl so a little bit of dirt doesn't bother me but this was filthy. If he's going to rent that place out he needs to put a fresh coat of paint on the inside, fix the busted wood trim and the floor that's peeling, and give it a good scrub down including the windows. It could be a very cute 1930's style cabin. He needs to find a different cleaning lady because the one he has is not doing a good job. I would not recommend this place to stay.

Very nice & responsive hosts. Property description needs to mention steep steps to bedrooms & delete comment about path to creek. Very nice overall & comfortable accommodations.

Property was not cleaned from prior guests. Dishes in dish drainer, dirty knife on counter, counters not clean, used wash cloth in sink and in shower. We were told towels were in the owners dryer when we arrived. Original post stated there was a washer/dryer on premises, which there was not. Some rooms were only have painted as well. Old used mattress propped against door on screened porch. Dead bug in kitchen drawer, in window sills and black stuff blowing out if ac the entire time we were there. Floors not swept, porches dirty. Bed not made. Linens tossed unfolded and left on bed. Plastic strainer filled with ice cubes in freezer along with old take out containers in fridge. The water view is a creek with a brush filled hillside and no path to walk. Stairs to bedrooms are extremely steep and unsafe so we slept in the recliner and love seat. The jouse on the same property had trash bags piled on their porch and property was not well maintained. It is and could be a cute little get away if it were properly maintained. Owner apologized and said that this never should have happened and was supposed to reimburse our cleaning fees but still has not done so.
