Biggest issue is we were placed on two ground floor rooms, and both had a pretty horrific sewage smell. We would have demanded to move or be refunded had we not only been using the rooms as a base. Rooms were very small - twin room is not really a twin room when there is hardly any space to separate the beds. Air conditioning was also squeeling so needed to be switched off. Beds were also not comfortable at all and only one flat pillow provided. Based on the above experience i would not stay again.

I has a very lovely stay at the Thurrock, all amenities were satisfactory for our one night stay. My only disappointment was the no clear signage of parking, neither did the hotel reception staff point this out on arrival what the rules on the parking on their site were. I was surprised when about 2 weeks or so later I received a parking fine which then put a damper on my stay at this hotel. Some hotels let you know as soon as you arrive how the parking stands.

The room was small and very basic, mattress was so thin and if you moved to much it moved with you. Curtains were dirty and white powder stuff all under my bed.smell of sewage in the bathroom, the best part of this room was the lovely shower cubicle and nice thick towels. I would not stay here again.
