Cosy village house with home cinema
This charming village house, fully renovated in 2023, is located in the center of Grandcamp-Maisy, just a few steps away from the beach, harbor, shops, and restaurants.
The seaside village of Grandcamp-Maisy is ideally situated for visiting Omaha Beach, La Pointe du Hoc, and the American Cemetery. By car, the medieval city of Bayeux is 25 minutes away, and Mont-Saint-Michel is a 1h30 drive.
The house features a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining area separated by a historic stone wall on the ground floor. Upstairs, you'll find a cozy lounge with a television, a bedroom with a 160 cm double bed, and two bedrooms, each with a 140 cm double bed. A large modern bathroom with a walk-in shower completes this floor. The second floor offers a home theatre with a 4K Laser projector and a 3.3-meter screen, along with a workspace equipped with a desk. Enjoy high-speed fiber internet with a speed of 1 Gbit/s. Please note that the staircase leading to the upper floors is quite steep and may not be suitable for younger children
All linens are provided. Wi-Fi access is included. Free parking spaces are available on the street in front of the house. We also have a second cottage (2 bedrooms - 4 people) located just a few steps away.
Every morning, you can purchase freshly landed products from fishermen under the fish market hall (fish, crustaceans, and shellfish). At low tide, go in search of shrimp, spider crabs, lobsters, periwinkles... to enjoy a delicious seafood platter with family or friends. Explore the nearby oyster beds with retail sales as well.
In Grandcamp itself, numerous activities are offered: sailing school, fishing, sand yachting, horseback riding, hiking, a playground for children, and of course its magnificent beach, from which it is not impossible to observe seals, porpoises, and even, for the luckiest, some dolphins.
Grandcamp is also ideally located on the route of the Vélomaritime, a trail situated between sea and land for hikers and cycling enthusiasts going from Dunkirk to Brittany!

Wonderful townhome in Normandy
Thoroughly modern set up steps from everything we needed for a great stay! Kitchen very well equipped and a boulangerie practically across the street with Carrefour within walking distance. Steep stairs up to home theater where we enjoyed watching Olympics every night. Very responsive owners who made checking and checkout a breeze. Highly recommend!

Belle maison de ville à deux pas de la mer
Très belle maison bien située. Boulanger et boucher / charcutier tout près. Superbe salle vidéo avec écran géant. L’accès aux chambres au premier étage et à la salle vidéo au deuxième se fait par des escaliers assez raides peu adaptés à des personnes ayant des difficultés de déplacement (c’est annoncé dans la notice du gîte). Sinon tout est parfait ! A signaler une cuisine très bien équipée.

Sejour à Grandcamp Maisy
Tres bon sejour, 50m de la plage.
Visite des plages d'Omaha et Utah Beach, cimetiere americain, musee du débarquement ainsi que la pointe du Hoc.
Le tout a proximité, logement agreable et fonctionnel, le petit plus la salle home cinéma, tres appreciable les soirs de match.
