It was a great spot for a quick weekend getaway with friends. My husband loved the minimalist vibe and was glad to have air conditioners in each room. The beds were firm, the pillows were comfortable, and the sheets were smooth. We loved the balcony.

We stayed here during a recent trip to Grand Rapids and unfortunately left disappointed. The property had several issues with cleanliness — there was an unpleasant smell, the floor vents and spaces under furniture were dirty, and dust had built up behind the drapes. Towels were scarce, there were no mattress covers, and the kitchen had a random hodge-podge of items that made cooking difficult. The sparse decor only added to the feeling that the space wasn’t well cared for.Safety was also a concern. The bathroom vanity was not anchored to the wall and felt unstable, which is especially worrying with small children. Additionally, there were lots of stairs, making the unit not very accessible for families or anyone with mobility challenges.On the positive side, the host was kind and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. The neighbors were also very friendly, which made the overall atmosphere a little warmer.Overall, this property was not clean or safe enough for a family with young kids. With some serious attention to cleanliness, safety, and basic amenities, it could be a much better rental.
