Good location, friendly owners

We enjoyed our stay at Eve’s Place. As advertised clearly the cabins are compact but do have outdoor spaces, too, if the weather cooperates! Our cabin was well equipped and attractive.

Cozy Cabin

Perfect little cozy cabin for a week away from the city. The view was gorgeous, the location perfect, and all the basic things we needed were already provided with the cabin. Absolutely will be coming back.

Great weekend

Came to Grand Marais to visit our son on his birthday and spend time with his family. Really enjoyed our stay at Eve's Place. Quiet, clean and a beautiful view. Highly recommended.

Clean and charming cabin!

Wow! What a cute and clean cabin with a great view of the lake! Two adults stayed and it was the perfect size for us. Great location very close to town. Mona was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. Will be recommending Eve's place and hope to visit again in the future!

Great location for a peaceful weekend up north!

The cabin was perfect for a weekend with friends spent hiking and relaxing around the campfire. The space within the cabin is smaller, but with everything considered - they really utilized the space very well! We spent most of our time out front around the firepit and were even able to take a few plunges in Lake Superior. Mona was a great communicator throughout the process and all of the amenities in the cabin were great!

Tiny Cabin, Big On Personality & Comfort

Having been the owner of a resort in the Ely area, west of the Grand Marais area, and having rebuilt an old, tired property, into a AAA Multiple Diamond facility, I am aware of the challenges that exist with older properties. The upgrades to the cabin I stayed in were obviously well thought through, there are lots of nice touches throughout.

Charming tiny cabin on lovely lakeside road

Mona is a wonderful host. Cabin 2 has beautiful interior pine walls, a very comfy queen bed, a spotless tiny bathroom, and a well-furnished kitchen complete with all you need for a week stay. She and her husband Ralph have provided little extras that were welcome -- olive oil, coffee, a small lantern, and Scrabble. Beautiful view of lake from front porch. A huge pot of mums in front of the porch was a friendly welcome. Thank you, Mona and Ralph!

4 Night Stay

The 2 bedroom cabin was perfect for me and a friend. It was clean, comfortable with many added little touches that made our stay memorable. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The towels were fluffy and very absorbent. The heater in the bathroom was perfect for chilly mornings. The kitchen was well equipped and worked well for 1 cook at a time. They also provide a Webber grill and picnic table. This cabin is near the firewood and equipment shed where collapsible chairs are available to take to the beach or on an outing.Mona was very knowledgeble of the area. She was also available and ready to help with any issues or questions you may have.We would definitely rent this cabin again and recommend it to friends.

Kind Owner + Great Location!

I was not able to go on this trip due to an unforeseen surgery shortly before the scheduled trip. However, Mona was understanding and kind! The girlfriend I was originally going with brought her husband instead. Mona was good with this and welcomed them with open arms! There was bad weather coming, and she even gave them blankets to cover their car in case of hail. Lake Superior is a stones throw away from the property and was reported as a beautiful view! I would recommend this VRBO and cannot wait to stay there next summer!
