The home is very well appointed, clean, and quiet with a great outdoor area overlooking the water, and a fire pit! The host was very responsive to our requests and queries. I highly recommend this place, especially for a family with children.

This was our 2026 family vacation! Enough space for all 8 of us comfortably. We really enjoyed the backyard and fishing off of the dock. We had steak and s’mores and lots of fun with the games! About thirty minutes away is Glen Rose where we went on two excursions on a safari and dinosaur state park. It was a blast and we made a lot of memories. Thank you to our wonderful host! This property is exactly as pictured, if not better! So so beautiful and clean. The kitchen drawers and cabinets were labeled (genius) and they had more amenities than other places (extra towels, lounging blankets, kitchen stuff). We spent most of our time by the water and I didn’t want to leave! LOVED it

This place is a gem. Beautiful new house, nicely decorated. Super clean.I am the cook and the kitchen is great. Everything you'd need. And not some hand-me-down cooking gear. All new good stuff. The outdoor areas are great. We had an older person with us and it's nice to sit out without going down stairs. View of the lake is great. The bedrooms and baths are fully appointed. The shower in the master bath is OMG. Really great getaway. The labels on drawers and cabinets to help finding are really clever.

We’ve stayed at this adorable, modern VRBO three times now, and it never disappoints! The space is always spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we need for a comfortable stay. It truly feels like a home away from home. Perfect Spring Break Spot

We had the best time here with our toddler. Grandparents loved it too! Kitchen had everything we needed and more, everything was clean and playground was amazing! Can’t wait to go back.

Great Property!

The property was just as advertised! Our kids loved the playground and the house was very spacious and allowed our kids to have their own room away from the master bedroom. The kitchen had all the things needed to cook a meal! Check in process was very easy and our overall experience was great!

Scenic Retreat!

Beautiful home, very clean and well stocked. The outdoor space is so well done (might suggest better lighting around the stairs at night), we enjoyed an evening around the fire pit! It is just a peaceful outdoor space.. We will most definitely be back.

Excellent Long Weekend

The house and management were excellent! Checkin was a breeze and the instructions provided were clear and concise. The house was very clean and we were able to walk right in and relax. We have stayed at a few VRBOs and this property made the Top 5 for sure. We traveled with several young kids and this house was perfect for families. Thank you to everyone involved in this property for a wonderful stay!

Weekend Getaway to enjoy Fossil Rim

We stayed here for two nights to be closer to Fossil Rim. The property listing is accurate as far as pictures go...if you have small kids the slant in the back yard is not as dramatic as it looks in pictures and the playground was awesome to have to help burn some energy! The kitchen was stocked well with appliances and cookware...we brought home food to-go for dinner but made breakfast the last morning and had coffee/sandwiches for lunch. The only frustration was the guard gate...apparently it is very common to in the area to have these "gated communities" with no thru traffic - we ran into another one with the way Google Maps told us to go to Revolver and had to go all the way back West to 144 and North to 377. It's confusing because they are very mixed-development communities...double-wides to barndominiums to new single family homes like this one. Additionally...its hard to know when you book, but this house is alllll the way back in the community. It took around 10-15 minutes just to get back to 144. Not a huge deal since we spent a lot of time at the house, but Saturday we needed to go back for a nap for our 1-yr-old and it was a lot of extra time just getting to and from the house.
