The room is stunning but the whole hotel experience is nowhere near 5 stars or justified by the extremely high price. The smallest reception of any hotel I’ve been and terrible elevator service, only 2 elevators worked and we constantly waited 5-10 mins each time to go anywhere, once you’re in it’s so full and everyone is complaining about how long the wait and tiny the elevators are and how one elevator doesn’t show the floor numbers so you’re guessing everytime it stops on a floor, it also has 2 sets of elevator buttons in each one and only 1 side works. Also our whole floor was getting some kind of carpet cleaning and smelled so bad of wet dog. The very dimly lit hallways were not great, it always felt like night time inside because of this and that there was no natural sunlight either. And the room service is ridiculous, there was a $30 surcharge fee for breakfast and $10 delivery. 1 coffee took 1.5 hrs to come. Ended up getting uber eats which was cheaper and took only 35 mins. Would not go back, better off at Langham or Jw Marriot.
