The accommodation was close to where we needed to be. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner was located in the lounge, not the bedroom. It took awhile to cool the bedroom down.

Great location average lodgings

Best thing about this property is the location. It’s very rundown. Shower is shocking goes from cold to boiling hot every couple of mins. Not that clean lots of dust on skirting boards and lots on ornament on table. Just ok, I have frequented Aruba properties on the Gold Coast and this one is by far the worst.

Very strong smell of bleach on arrival. Lights out, and the unit was crawling with cockroaches and tiny bugs. Excessive pest spray was required to control same. Crockery and cutlery needed a good scrub as did cooking facilities. Unit needs to be totally refurbished. Very disappointing indeed.

Was very disappointed with the unit. The unit was not clean by any means. The bath room had a bad offensive smell about it also kitchen sink not clean stove dirty and glasses and cup needed to be washed before they could be use.

Not impressed for the cost

If you want convenience to Broadbeach this is it. If you expect value for money for $250+ per night, cleanliness, comfort and privacy, then I suggest you look elsewhere. Many aspects of the room were not clean. The furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. The double bed was on rollers and would shift around on the smooth floor whenever you got in or out of bed. The sofa/couch was rock hard. Generally all the furniture was of poor quality. The room faced the street with a coffee shop opposite to our room. The curtains had to be drawn or patrons in the coffee shop and opposing car-park could view the bedroom and living area. The curtains had to be drawn with the lights on at anytime of the day for privacy. (Block out blinds or even wire screens on the windows would be of benefit!). I expected a basic, but comfortable room at a minimum. The staircase also smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.
