Incredible Property - Wonderful Stay

The Garden By The Sea property was literally a garden by the sea. We stayed for a week during spring break with our middle school child and loved our time here. The house was fantastic and well kept, perfectly clean. A true gem in the vacation rental market. This is probably the best house and most helpful and communicative host we've had in numerous stays across Oregon. 10/10 - Would stay here again for sure.

A lovely retreat ay Nesika Beach

This house was impressively comfortable, beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. A great chance for my wife and i to have some quiet romance together in a peaceful setting. For restaurants, drive to Gold Beach. The ocean view was relaxing. Close enough to see and hear but far enough away to avoid the winds. The hot tub was delightful. We loved it there, and wish to express our gratitude to the hostess Clare, who made us feel welcome and invited. We will be staying at one of her well managed and beautiful homes again in the future I'm quite sure!

Beautiful private oasis close to the beach!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Garden by the Sea. The landscaping was absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and playing board games on the outdoor patio. The home was well equipped with kitchen supplies and we enjoyed cooking a meal. The house is walking distance to a beautiful beach. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on the Oregon coast!

My family absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home. The house was so fancy . Had to bake in the kitchen because it was such a nice fancy kitchen. It’s equipped with everything you need to cook and bake! Bath tub is comfy. Jacuzzi was great! It’s about 10 min driving away from gold beach. The beach was beautiful and relaxing.

Lovely and peaceful

The property was just as it appears online if not better! Lovely, well kept gardens and beautifully appointed decor fit for the seaside location. Plenty of space for myself, husband and 3 grown children. We only wish there would have been a common space bathroom (with shower or tub). Only reason for overall 4 star rating. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star stay. Our daughter’s boyfriend traveled with us and it was a bit awkward for him to have to shower in our primary en-suite or my daughter’s en-suite in the bedroom where she stayed. There should be access to that bathroom from the main hall or there should be a shower/bathtub in the large1/2 bath in the common area of the home.

Most beautiful property I’ve stayed at

My family absolutely loved this place. It isn’t your typical cold modern home. It’s got a small beach cottage vibe. Except it’s huge and spacious with room for the whole family. It’s decorated to the nines. It’s such a beautiful cozy space. We really enjoyed the hot tub and you can see the ocean from upstairs. It was so nice to come back to after a long day of beach activities. Will absolutely be staying again.

A lovely and perfect home base for our family

We vacationed with our four kids who range from 22 to 15. I chose Garden by the Sea because of its charm, the lovely outdoor area, and the size. It was perfect for us. Our kids all had their own beds, plus the open kitchen/dining/living room provided plenty of space to hang out. We enjoyed the hot tub, I soaked in the clawfoot tub more than once, and we loved that the main living area was on the second floor with such a lovely view. While we have visited the northern Oregon coast several times, this was our first visit to the southern coast. Nesika a Beach is a short walk from the house, and Otter Point is a short drive. The coastline between Gold Beach and Brookings is just stunning, and we especially enjoyed low (minus) tide at Meyers Creek Beach and climbing the dunes at Pistol River. If you stay here, be sure to cross the highway and order a burger at the Nesika Beach Market & Deli. They're huge and delicious! The house was very clean, and Clare was responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

A sweet retreat

This is a spacious, clean, private and comfortable home. The negatives were a BBQ grill that couldn’t heat about 280 degrees and the third bedroom that was sort of an afterthought compared to the two lovely bedrooms. But is a very good find with nice yard.

Outstanding house!

Traveling down the coast with a couple of girlfriends, this house was a relaxing retreat to come home to at the end of the day. The house is beautifully updated and decorated. It was extremely comfortable. Loved the yard and the hot tub. Only downfall was no doors on the downstairs bathrooms and the bathrooms were only accessible from inside of the bedrooms. 3rd bedroom was small and had to go upstairs to use the toilet and had to go through someones bedroom to shower. Other than that it was a lovely home, very thoughtfully put together.

Magical House

When I first saw the pictures of this place I knew this was the one for my birthday celebration because it looked like the type of house fairies live in! Everything about the house is charming and whimsical while being completely modern, comfortable, extremely clean, and accommodating. The location is perfect as well and the yard is immaculate with beautiful plants and shrubbery. The hot tub was clean, easy to operate and located perfectly next to the house. The front porch was its own amazing entity! It's only about a 5 minute walk to the beach and you can see the ocean from the house. I did not want to leave this gem. Stay here you will be super glad!!

Wonderful house and property!

My family of 4 (kids age 10 and 15) had a fabulous stay in this Gold Beach Beauty! The house is quiet, super clean, Beach Elegant, comfortable and inviting. The property is stunning. Clare is easy to communicate with and reached out wanting to make our stay perfect. The location is an easy drive to all things beautiful beach and spending a day in the Redwoods. Hot-tubbing as a family, making meals in the spacious and well-supplied kitchen and having plenty of space for spending time together and relaxing was all possible in this vacation destination. Stay here! You'll love it!
